Possible to change login name?

After making this account more than a year ago, I finally reached 15 posts to change my name, only to discover it's just the public name. When I chose a username it was before I even came out and I hadn't chosen a name yet, so the username derived from my birth name. I've since chosen a name I prefer and had a legal change, and I would rather not be reminded of what it was every time I log in here.

So is it possible or am I stuck?

Under "Profile", you will find "Account Settings".  There you will find where you can enter a new name.  Then just save and you should be done.

I did that, it's just the publicly viewable name. I want to change the Username, not the Name.

Ah.  Yeah you are stuck unless you register a new name, and start at zero again

I was afraid of that. Fortunately there is an option to stay logged in indefinitely, so I don't have to see it often.
