Has anyone visited the Tom Waddell Transgender Clinic in SF? If yes, what was it like?

Reading their web site it sounds almost like the DMV of healthcare. TG-related services happen on Tuesdays only, it seems, and I'd need to take a half-day off from work to get there.

Thoughts, anyone?
