A good news story from Ireland. A trans woman has won her case against her former employer.

(I don't like how they discuss the issue, the language and terms they use etc., but it's the news that is good, rather than the reporting...)
This follows just a few months after Ireland legalised same-sex unions. Trans people can already get both a passport and driver's licence in their preferred name and gender. Now we just have to wait until the government legislates on sex-reassignment (birth certs etc) which they said they will do soon.
What's next? Same-sex marriage and adoption? Roll on the good times! Fantastic news coming from a country than only decriminalised homosexuality in 1993.
