Ok, so the award is NOT for service to the transgender statistical population or even for likeabilty to us.
I fancy myself as a closet script writer for scripts with transgender characters in them, and two days into one of my best efforts, I realize a serious problem, and that is that no one will recognize my character is transgender IF they represent the best of transgendered people, since they start to end up looking like cis men and women, or in otherwords, boring as hell. (Which really is how I see myself in future days.)

Leave It To Beaver ish. This is a real story that will never sell to short hour TV series even about sex. (In vitro fertilization is not erotic)

How does a smart and heroic trans-woman attorney take on the defense of a white cis bigot, keep herself out of trouble and by giving her client the best defense of her career, still get him put away for life. Ok thats the Devils Advocate plot (from the scottish legend) but the end of it is going to be for her getting wasted by the other Trans or Gays for even taking on the job!!
We need our own better writers for the shows, so when are we going to field a couple??
