Is it normal to have a little dimple or empty spot under the skin where the penis used to be?

Not visible or felt all the time, but more like something that sort of appears in certain positions, and then sometimes there is a tugging sensation in certain positions that comes from the same general place.  Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I'm kind of worried that something got fastened together that shouldn't have, or maybe too tight or something.  I have a fear that this might cause a problem and I can't make it happen all the time but sometimes it's pretty distracting and worrying.

You know you body best, if something doesn't feel right, call the doctor and ask. Hugs, Tracey

The Dr has no idea what I'm talking about.  It has always been this way.

Where exactly are you talking about, how long post-op are you, and who did your surgery?  I think a little indentation just above the clitoral hood is normal.  If your surgery was recent, there may still be some healing going on internally as well.

Sanguan Kunaporn, no I don't think there is any  more healing to do.  I think sometimes it feels, well it's hard to describe.  I don't know, but it feels like something is PULLING?  Does that make any sense at all?  Inside there somewhere.  Like up toward my pelvis, not the vagina or anything down that way. When I stepped out of the bath tub once I felt it and saw it at the same time in the mirror.  But I had felt it before, and then I kept trying to get it to happen again so I could see what the deal was and sometimes it happens and sometimes not.  For a long time I thought it was stitches or something but now it's been years so I don't think it could be.

I'm not going all the way back over it either.  Anyway there is kind of a drawing up and a little dimple or something at the same time.  I sometimes feel like what if it's some kind of old stitches and I do that and then the stitches break and I bleed to death inside?

Anyway, I'm just going to ignore it I guess.  It seldom happens, even when I try to make it happen.  I'm sorry I even mentioned it now.

It may be just the way it has healed, but if it's a major concern then yeah, seeing your doctor would be the best thing.  :)

If the dimples are not causing any pain, i wouldn't worry to much about them. I have read about other people having these dimples after post-op recovery and they disappear over time. You are being to self conscious of the dimples and trying to make them reappear is not a good idea and you could injure yourself. I have heard that these dimples may have been caused by where they inserted drain tubes when you had your surgery. If you are having pain or blood discharge in your pelvis, vulva or vagina area, it is best you see a doctor and find out the problem
