Disinteresting is all I am, not an interesting thing to say about me. While some people have exciting 9-17 jobs, and still others brush their teeth twice a day without fail... I am but a young transsexual woman with an often bubbly personality what holds a combined nihilistically existential deterministic worldview together with a philosophy of apathy towards things that do not involve her. Also an anarchistic atheist that prefers risky/high paying ventures to what she sees as exciting hard work. I am so boring, can't entertain a crowd for the life of (usually the price is six US dollars, but you know: I make do). :'(

One positive thing I can say about this forum is that it's the first one of the 'trans' forums I've been trying to become a member in that doesn't have me waiting to be personally approved for 4+hours. My typical forums are places that have either very few rules or none at all (I've been to 4chan and survived... but that which is seen cannot be unseen ;))... so I'll try to adapt to having 20 some rules on top of posting guidelines :P The only one that hits me hard is to not derail threads or post humor images... (indeed I wonder what form the humor in this forum then takes, for pictures are worth thousands of words... perhaps when being funny the posters write books ;)). I'll try to keep it together though... as my other forums aren't going anywhere any time soon.

And thus is ended a mildly sense-making post by a thoroughly uninteresting person. Hi :)

I doubt it moderately... as I am quite unused to kindness and sympathy, and just reading through various threads here has me in a state of shock. I'd love to relax... but I don't even have my relaxing avatar (me eating a banana in anime) until I find 15 things to post on :P

Come to think though... I could use a hand. It has to be a human left hand though, and I don't really need the thumb from it. My tummy has the rumblies that only thumbless left hands can satisfy ;)

I am lost in new-forum city and I've no sense of direction... perhaps you'd be so pleasant to guide me to a good place to start? :)

Also, does the annoying verification thing go away after 15 posts is up? My eyes are not the best and I usually fail at least once. And when it asks "Are you a human?" I have this mightily strong temptation to answer 'no'. A shame it has no sense of humor... maybe it should ask directions ^_^

Hi Vaerama

Contrary of what you write, I do like your writing style and i love a good sense of humor.
I think the verification thing will go away if you log in for ever in the menu.

Have a good time here

hugs

I couldn't agree more Annette. Very funny intro, in a 'convincingly' uninteresting, boring, and mundane way of course.  ;)

Hm, another ageless, cynic, funny, sceptic, eh.

Just hang in there, I'm sure you'll find your audience. :-)

But some relaxing is fine, - short of loosening up your sore tummy motions too much of course.

Oh, and there is no requirement for being interesting around here either.
I hope this with help...

Put your posts, if no one is interested it gets flushed down the database in no time, and any subsequent embarrassment of yet having failed yourself once again - with it.
Nice, eh?

Hi Vaerama

Contrary of what you write, I do like your writing style and i love a good sense of humor.

I also love good senses of humor. Unfortunately, I've but a sick and twisted sense of humor that has been known to find the eating of evil bananas as amusing. There's something macabrely wonderful about people cursing themselves so willfully ^_^

Thank you and I shall certainly attempt to have a good time here. No matter how much comedy I am accessory to: I do not enjoy nearly enough merriment. It's as Rowan Atkinson says: "The one thing that should strike you about these figures is this: Alarming as they are............................... they are just not ENOUGH"

Alas, I agree. I would try to be more interesting, engaging, and extraordinary... but it's so much more fun just to sit here laughing at the world and everything in it ^_^

Angry young man holds a gun to my head? Laughter.
Machinery crushes a friend to death? More laughter.
Space aliens obliterate our entire civilization? Laughter again.

My hollow and mirthless laughter has been known to scare young children. I'm so talented  :D

QuoteJust hang in there, I'm sure you'll find your audience. :-)

My favored audience does not become found... just like the black market and Russian Mafia: it finds you :D The soon-to-be-purple hair is my gateway between people I wanted to meet and people I didn't ;)

There's no requirement to be interesting? Oh well, I'll be interesting anyway. If I'm not being interesting: It is because I'm not being myself. And what is the point of a trans forum if not to be yourself? :D

But I already know the answer to that question: to spear bacon with a non-fork aparatus as might be requirment of certain religious festivals :)

I find comparing the database to a toilet to be a fascinating idea... that means all of the interesting posts either clog up the database or otherwise refuse to go down

It could very well be so... it boils down to one thing, I do believe: What is the meaning of purple hair? ^_^

The meaning of purple hair: Trust ^_^

In everything except it not being infected... of which it has a solid 30% chance of being so due to the trusting nature of it ;)

And it was Babylon 5, not DS9... though i can see how the mistake could be made (if it wasn't Londo in the video that is...)

Ahhhh.... that's so much better (after 15 posts). I can find my own posts now ^_^

I don't see the verification things anymore either... here's hoping I killed them through perseverance ^_^

It's sometimes called database administration, eh.

Babylon 5 isn't Star Trek ^_^ And I am *still*, to this day, angry that Winters died -_- I really was rooting for Susan to find love :(

I would reply but I find myself in an existentialist quandary.  If I do will I encourage you to go against you inner nature, thereby committing a form of violence against you; or will it encourage you to leave that suspiciously phallic banana alone and engage in communication with another?  Or should I say "stuff it", and go and have a beer?

Karen, or at least I assume I am at the moment. ;)

<--- much amusement ^_^

'No definition is intrinsic, therefore every definition is subjective' <-- Nihilistic Existentialism (to be sure, it's 02:13)

I say have the beer, say stuff it, and reply ^_^

Oh, did I mention my outright hatred of solipsism in my intro? Seems not. I hate solipsism. Now you know :D Hatred. 'I think, therefore I am' and 'If a tree falls in the forrest, does it make a sound'... both of you so flawed and so repeated by wannabe philosophers that think they sound clever... and on top of that they use such words as 'objective' and believe they are smart for misusing such big words... /endrant, before she starts frothing. And may your left ankles rot, Renee Descartes. -_-
