got invited to my friend house and going swimming

hi i have been invited to go to my friend house and go swimming, but only problem is i don't have time to buy a swimwear Binder, i have a sport bra will that be ok, will it cope with water, i haven't been swimming for a long time, so i know i will be going in shorts and t-shirt but im just worried about my bra might stretch....any tips?

well you're telling us that you can't get a swim binder (they don't really work anyways) and you have a sports bra that will work, so i don't really know what kind of advice you want. yes, it might stretch in water, but so will a binder. i don't really have any magic spell to make undergarments water-resistant. are you stealth? if so i might just not go in the water. if your friends know you're trans, they know what's on your chest. as much as this might be uncomfortable for you to have them show a bit, it's not the end of the world.

When I was in my "awkward" phase as a teenager I also had a summer job as a lifeguard at the local private swim camp.  After getting a really bad burn while wearing a white t-shirt, I switched to solid dark colored shirts.  While a dark colored shirt will attract heat, the suns rays will penetrate through a white shirt and burn you.  I'd just buy some waterproof tape (for my nipples and to pull back the corners of my 'chest' area) and wear that under an a-shirt and solid, dark well-fitted t-shirt.  (Baggy shirts tend to cling in odd places when soaking wet, I never liked that.)

Oh ok then i wont get the swim binder if they don't work thanks didnt want to waste my money also i can get it but i know i wont get it in time. Well i wanted to know if there is any way of hiding the chest or ideas (without damaging the sport bra or so)
i might just jump into a bath and test it out before i go to her house well she doest really know about me being Ftm and i don't know if she invited anyone else or not (it been a long time since i seen her) and i am bringing one of my friend who knows that i am a ftm so it not all to bad , i just want to have some fun without any awkwardness moments with my top half. so yeah i just have to wait and see till i get there.

i might try that waterproof tape thing, and has been looking at some like wetsuit or rashguard top. (not sure if they will help with hiding my chest, but my chest is really small so i might be lucky), thanks
