Hell I do about 20-30 miles a day, depending on how many hills, unless I head up to Annandale, where five miles equal about 40-50 on flat roads. Total body workout. I have people who are pretty good mtn. bike riders get up there with me and get off the bike and walk it - double black diamonds are not for everyone. But I ride in cold, in rain, in 100 degree plus weather, at night, in the day - no matter, it's what I do. Besides, not having a car to me equals another four weeks of paid vacation every year. Enjoy that hunk of metal, you're trading your life for it. I'll take the time off to go up to Tahoe and ski.
