Where else could this be posted without attracting a surfeit of replies concerning pink Vespas, red Mazda Miatas, black Ducati Monsters and BMWs with 19" alloys! Apologies for the stereotyping there. :)

While hoping not attract endless replies about Hyundai Accents I ask what do you lovely people ride or drive?

Hoping to suitably (un)impress you I'll start the confession: Silver Skoda Fabia TDI hatchback with huge mileage and until it was stolen 2 weeks ago my beloved black Piaggio Liberty 125 scooter.

I do not, can not, and have no intention to drive.

Busses and trains and feet do me okay.

'02 Mitsubishi Lancer O-Z Rally.  In Japan, the color is called Sunflower Yellow, but for some reason in the US it is Lightning Yellow.  (Who's ever seen yellow lightning?)

Now we're talking :) Yellow as well, have always wanted a hot yellow car. Excellent taste. :)

Come on Pica Pica, do not let the side down. Two words to bring a chill to any heart: Northern Line. ;)

Marin HT Hydroform frame with Shimano Shadow Deore derailers, and hydraulic disc brakes, Michelin City (pilot model) tires, and automatic Marzocchi front forks.

Pearl White pearlescent paint.

I spent a year and a half in Putney on the district line, now that is terror.

I find cars so dull, and stinking and pricey, just doesn't appeal.

Ah! A cyclist. Cycling was my passion until I totally smashed up my right knee in an crash. Used to a ride a Fanini made to measure (factory measurement visit and all) aluminium frame with Camapagnolo Record group-set and Mavic rims with Vittoria silk tubeless (race day) back in the day. Before that a Colnago with with a weird wheel set though that was a very harsh and twitchy frame and tended to give me saddle sores, lethal over rough road surfaces, cobbles and paving. That was back in Italy. Cycling was all that ever kept my GID at bay.

I used to walk or bike to work for a while, back when the office was just a mile from home.  We moved out of that office when we split from our original parent company (good thing for my sanity) to a place several miles off and across a nasty highway I wouldn't want to cross without a tank.  Then I bought a house across the river.  Then we moved offices again.  Really too hilly in our neighborhood to trouble with a bike and few places I could go with it, but I do love walking to and around the park nearby in nice weather.

I do enjoy driving sometimes; it clears the head to think about stuff I am too busy to think about other times.  Other times, driving is a pain.

Hell I do about 20-30 miles a day, depending on how many hills, unless I head up to Annandale, where five miles equal about 40-50 on flat roads.  Total body workout.  I have people who are pretty good mtn. bike riders get up there with me and get off the bike and walk it - double black diamonds are not for everyone.  But I ride in cold, in rain, in 100 degree plus weather, at night, in the day - no matter, it's what I do.  Besides, not having a car to me equals another four weeks of paid vacation every year.  Enjoy that hunk of metal, you're trading your life for it.  I'll take the time off to go up to Tahoe and ski.

Well you could put that money you would have put there, on my paypal account. I take donations.

I don't really know, but somehow I doubt it. However, the Italika brand is selling in a very big national shop, so I don't think it would be some under-the-table kind of deal. On the other other hand, viva mexico ...  ::)

Italika is made in Mexico using a South Korean/Chinese design.

Aha! Messico e nuvole...

My first wife emigrated there, looked like a very beautiful country at least Oaxaca did.
