Just wondering since you can get lip injections... do hormones have any effect on your lips as in plumping them up? I know they can pad out and soften your face, but I wonder about lips.

teen girls get bigger lips at puberty so perhaps estro would work on TS lips.  our faces alter so slow that its hard to tell.

No, they may just plump them out a bit. The term "trout pout" is used to describe collagen-injected lips, where too much filler has been used, it's almost always used with a negative connotation. It basically means shapeless over-plumped lips which look fake when you smile.

If you have a thin upper lip the only way to go is a lip lift combined with just a little bit of dermal filler. This will create the "rolled up" look while retaining or improving the vermilion curve.

I have a trout stream behind my house i will have to ask them!  oh yea they are getting clean water from the mountain with no estrogens in the water so they probably have very narrow trout lips .. Yea your gonna have to ask city trout but most of them are suckers and bottom fish  :o

I have somewhat full lips to begin with  :)  People would tease me about them when I was young and I'd feel self conscious

But now I'm rather happy with my 'girly' lips  :)  especially when there's a nice shade of lipstick on them

Not sure if HRT plumps them out any or not

Actually my lips were so big many of my black friends thought i had some black heritage in my ancestry. I think in around 1988 I had my lips reduced. It was the worst thing i ever did and it took yrs to get them to work and look OK. I had to exercise them constantly and well they are a little lopsided and well like you all i would probably rather just have let them alone.. It also took yrs to be able to whistle again which i loved to do. But that was my pre transitioning plastic surgery i had done like my nose too which i had done twice due to it haven been broken a few times from people not liking me  :(

PS: Having tiny lips was cute back then unlike now

No from what I understand it's more that testosersone shrinks a males lips more than estrogen enlarging them.

Wow?? It restricted your smile and speech prononciation or something like that?

I always wondered about the effect of lip reduction!

estrogen and LH surge during ovulation increases peripheral vascular circulation causing the lips and other mucosal membranes to become more "red" and littlee plumper. This is a transcient change.

Sorry, myth debunked !

I hope the idea of testosterone thinning lips might be true, because, in my opinion, my lower lip is horribly fat.
Meow.

Please know that naturally full lips on a Cis-male is very sexy!

Regarding plump lips and Estrogen, well, this is perhaps not the answer that MzDazzler wanted, but I do remember having wondered from time to time how some femme-gays(Guys) could have so plump lips looking as girls lips although they were biological males.
Sort of rounded hips and small hands they had, too.

Speaking of it, I right now actually recalled that it says in a long section on Homosexuality in an Encyclopedia I have from the 50's, that homosexual males have feminine curves and high pitched voices and generally loves womens doings- Guess that would piss off a lot of them nowadays.

Or they probably wear those collagen-plumping lipsticks that can be found in department or makeup speciality stores. I wore one from Bare Essecnutals for a while - it definitely plumped out my lips temporarily for 15 mins or so

Nope, the ones I am thinking of, were real. :)

Well, I can. LOl

I know that many gay guys pump their lips, however they- in my opinion- are very easy to see that they are pumped as they do not "agree" with the rest of the facial features.
Instead, these lips but were sort of very short and small, but yet plumpy, sort of like baby-lips. And as mentioned, these guys also tended to have sort of "fatty" faces too, although they apart from that had a totally normal build, and they also had very small hands and rounded hips.

Wouldn't be surprised the leastest if they were Intersexual but totally unaware of it, as many Intersexual people often don't even know about their condition.
