So I'm filling out some online applications,
And I've reached that annoying part of the process where they ask for your gender.
Gender, not biological sex.
The choices are 'Male' and 'Female'
There is no, 'I'd rather not disclose,' Option,
Which frankly, pisses me off to no end.
So looking through the equal opportunity crap,
I see that it includes 'Gender identity' Some employers do NOT include this,
So it has me thinking...that I wanna check that little 'Male' box. (( Hah, Mailbox ))
But I wonder, is this consider 'lying,'
I mean, I've been diagnosed by a therapist to have GID,
So if they had any questions, I could provide my letter to the employers so they don't think I'm nuts.
But I just don't quite know what to do,
I mean, around strangers, I pass, so...I'm thinking...that I wanna...
What do you guys do about the stupid gender box?
