Can't believe it's been already nearly 10 years since I played Pokémon Red... And I did not ever played the series again after Crystal.

I subscribe to a bunch of discount voucher sites, and I got an email through this morning offering me a tantalising, Earth-shattering, bargain-basement deal of a £20 discount off a flight to Australia! Wowsers.  ::)

The cheapest plane ticket is £579, not to mention the high cost of food, transport and accommodation in Oz. That £20 makes all the difference then.

For reference, £20 is pretty much what I spend on a single trip to McDonald's.

Could be like Ryanair advertising 1 euro flights; add taxes and fees on top of that. AirAsia does the same thing, so I'd suspect it's via Kuala Lumpur then.
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.

Ahhh... this is the thread I need :D I can't believe I just found it.

Yesterday we were at a work party for a woman who's getting married. She and I are pretty good work friends, I think...
She was sitting next to me and we were getting ready to leave... her back was turned slightly, so she could see me and where I was standing. This other woman walks by and, planning to say congrats etc., starts rubbing her on the lower back. First of all... that's just weird, but not only did my work friend think it was me (until she turned around) but I KNEW she thought it was me, given our standing positions.

It was pretty hilarious after she figured it out... but a split second of awkwardness for at least two of the three people involved!

I may be a woman (not that any of them know yet), but I will never feel comfortable doing that to anyone I'm not in a very close relationship with... friend or lover, male or female. Certainly not at work!!

Good thinking! What I'm curious to know is did it seem that she was enjoying it before she realized who it really was? That would be an indicator of how comfortable she is with you right now.

LOL... no, but I don't know who would be. We laughed about it this morning and agreed that it was weird... she just felt better when she saw who did it because it was clearly not out of interest at that point.

She's a good work friend... and hopefully will be accepting when the time comes.

Karla

This morning, one of the Hilton front desk ladies.  We were friendly before, but now after suddenly going full time and checking in as Karla, we began to have 'girl talk'.  We were talking about dress shops locally, and she recounted getting stuck in a dress and needing to call for help.

I laughed, as I used to believe that kind of thing only happens to transwomen... happened to me once in a thrift shop and i didn't ask for help until several minutes had passed... the dress over my head, arms pinned.

I have to get an antibiotic to treat my strep throat, and the package said this:

You should not use Biaxin if you have a life-threatening heart rhythm disorder, a history of Long QT syndrome

My friend said "guess you can't take it, you're too much of a QT." ;D Lmao.

That awkward moment this morning when my SatNav told me I had 16 minutes to get to an appointment that was an hour away from me.

After a good minute of panicking & trying to figure out how I'd miscalculated so badly, I realised that I hadn't adjusted my SatNav's clock when our clocks went back on Sunday, so I really had an hour and 16 minutes to get there. D'oh!

Haven't seen her but I can tell when the gal across the street is pissed by her hilarious body language. She comes bursting out of the house and get's her back up real straight, does the violent hair toss and puts her cell phone up to her ear and struts around, her other arm and hand waiving as if she's lecturing someone.

Ashley is a b**** if there ever was one. She seems to always try to start stuff with customers and coworkers. In normal work environments where she wouldn't be related to the owner, she'd be fired in short order.

LOL that's how many people on Hardcore Pawn act when they don't get amount of money they wanted for their items.

I know right?  Seth can be just as much frigid, but I was actually happy when Ashley had left for a while.  I honesntly don't see how Seth puts up with her.  She can be quite possessive  when it comes to the store.
