2 of my coworkers and I played a friendly little trick on another coworker today.  He was swamped with work & while he's not awfully verbal, he gets pretty melodramatic with the loud sighing, and muttering & cursing under his breath.  So he left his desk for a few & the three of us wrote up 3 fake assignments for him, all of them urgent & bizarre.  We had another coworker slip them on his desk & then we all waited for him to find them.  We three turned bright pink stifling our anticipatory laughter & when he finally saw his new 'assignments' we all laughed so hard we were crying & coughing & peeing.  Good stuff, especially working in hospice--we need levity.

Today I was shopping and saw a T-shirt with the following words:

I will drink until I fall
then I will keep drinking lying down

My translation might have taken the funny of the text (original in portuguese), but it was enough to make me laugh really hard and everybody started to stare at me!

Several band members joking around and changing the lyrics in a Zappa concert i've almost finished listening to. More than a half of the lyrics to one song on it were adlibbed. Won't see that from any modern popular act.

I went to the store to buy a few things including a bottle of white wine vinegar because it works well with cooking poultry and seafood and this brand happened to be on sale for a good price



Well, the teenage guy bagging my groceries holds up the bottle and exclaims that he really liked the shape of the bottle while subconsciously stroking the neck of it a few times

The checkout girl and I both looked rather surprised and replied "um, .... Okay" at the same time

I felt a little sad for the kid because I think he may have suddenly realized his folly
The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Friend told me a totally real life ribald story from his sexcapades which was both gross and hilarious. Don't know if it was the red wine but I couldn't stop laughing. I shan't recount it here as it would probably get me banned!

Yeah... I'm watching through the series on netflix now. . . don't really care what people think, and I'm not afraid to mention it -- well, not to people who know I'm trans. It's about the only show that won't trigger me right now.

Is that the old one or the new one? I never got into MLP when I was a kid. I found out later that a couple of voice actresses from the Get Along Gang worked on that show. I never knew that (but I never watched it, so how could I know? :D)

The new one... it's really a good show :)
