"<boy-name> those are the prettiest socks I've ever seen on any man, woman, or child"

Also the way it was said... trying to get under my skin - but it ended up just being hilarious :D
They were just gold toe ankle socks with a thin pinkish red ring around the cuff.

I guess I'll wear the lime green ones today. Maybe not the women's flats, though? (Yesterday... oversized men's shoes... today, probably sneakers)

This illustration from "The Get Along Gang & The Tattletale". It totally cracks me up. I had posted it once before but the resolution of the webcam was so bad that you could barely see the image. This one from a different device is much better.

Why isn't an orchiectomy just called a mister-ectomy?  I think up silly things sometimes...

Not really silly, that's what it actually amounts to!

Why is it an orchidectomy. I think I got the wrong flower at birth!

Always liked orchids, though.

Thanks for the laugh, ladies.  I also think up some odd things. Telling people usually gets me some odd looks and some (a lot) alone time.

I looked it up... and it's going in the TIL thread.

Orchids are named after testicles because of the shape of the root.

When people use uncommon or obscure words to sound smart, but use them incorrectly.

Stop being prosaic! It makes you seem distended and fills me with rancor.  :-\

Went to visit my 92 yr old mother in law, I walked in and she was on the phone (to my non-accepting SIL, her daughter). Her following conversation 'Oh Cindy is here' pause, 'Cindy Surname' pause, 'your sister in law'. Puts phone down with a thump.

We then spent a very nice few hours talking about her teaching career.

I was explaining to my Grandma Rose about terms in the queer community and we talked about "Metro" men.
So we ran into my friend Mario, a very polished and flirty guy, and they hit it off right away.

As he walked away she whispers into my ear "Is he one of those urbans?!" She mixed up "urban" and "metro". I just died.  :icon_evil_laugh:

That quintessentially epitomizes the exemplification of the anathema that makes me cachinnate....or something like that.
Discord, I'm howlin' at the moon
And sleepin' in the middle of a summer afternoon
Discord, whatever did we do
To make you take our world away?

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?
Discord, we won't take it anymore
So take your tyranny away!

The ears would be cute. You are right, I don't eat rabbits, especially ones with a good diet and the personality that comes through in your posts.

I love you, too KAT... you're one Kitty I'm not allergic to!

And you'd be horrified at my diet this month :( I have big plans to re-fix it after Christmas. I may need to start immediately (Holiday party at work today :P feel sick)

Again
