I was eating a tuna fish sandwich and my brother comes in, takes on sniff, and goes "....oh God. You smell like mom."

Your mom eats a lot of tuna!  >:-)

Did you punch him out for that comment?

No, because it's true. :| She has a lot of problems with her "downstairs" LOL. I feel really sorry for her actually.

Rather hokey stuff involving romance and other stuff I've noticed going on at my apt. complex and other places that I don't bother saying anything about

It could have been an Alligator Gar and the bread would still be there, though not the duck!  >:-)

I was picking out a Mother Day's card and I came across a really good one. It made me giggle since what was written inside seemed to apply to the trans thing as it related to me growing up. (But that's just my interpretation of it)

I used to play dress up
clopping around in your shoes,
dreaming of who I'd be
when I was old enough
to wear lipstick and high heels

Now that I've grown
out of make-believe
and into real life, I see
that the smart woman
I wanted to be
was already a part of me

I've watched her poise,
felt her grace,
and known her love
every day of my life.

Mom, you're
the kind of woman
I aspire to be.

Haha yeah, if I read that card I'd immediately imagine a trans woman in her mother's closet LOL.

Thankfully, I was skinny so I could fit into everything, so that was cool.

The inevitable getting busted later on? That wasn't so fun.

Oh well....that's life.

So I was wandering around a local shop at lunchtime, looking for the razor blades that I now need to keep my hairy face under control, when I heard a slow, ballady cover-version of a vaguely familiar song that was playing over the PA system.

I thought... "I know that song, but I can't remember what it's called". So I played the song forward in my head, got to a bit I could identify and I realised that I was listening to... The Crying Game.

my dog sat on my lap, i scratched his back/tummy , he looked so happy .. & then i farted quietly .. and few sec later, he looked at me with not happy face & he jumped down & walked away without coming back no matter how loud i called him to come back haha  ;D

My dog used to do that, his own terribly smelly farts were dandy to him, but let someone else do it and he'd walk off mad.

I enjoyed it too... it was very bittersweet. And I went through an awkward phase of wanting to watch everything Jaye Davidson had ever done.

But it did give me a proper snort-laugh today when I heard the song playing whilst I happened to be in the shop. If they only knew...  ;D

It was bittersweet. Two people from diversely opposite backgrounds and circumstances finding common ground through their mutually crushing loneliness as they begin to care for one another in spite of the stigma surrounding both. I wonder how many times that gets played out in this community?

I forgot about this song, lol, but it popped up my itunes and burst out laughing when he went "Mary Kate and Ashley used to be so wholesome, now they're getting older, they're starting to grow bum bums." God I bet so many celebrities hate him.
