a late-period entry of a film series i like.
damn, i know the color ones were weird, but what does a laser cannon have to do with a normal whodunit? And why does the villain in a 60's movie out of the blue reveal she deeply wants to be a man and that that's why she goes around murdering men in something that looks a bit like a more realistic Guy Fawkes mask? I nearly did a spittake during that scene, turned over to my mother and said: "did she just?". And why are convicted female criminals masquerading as a nun's order working on a heist? And why does the head nun have a husband? And why is the Countesses son mentally handicapped in such an offensive manner? And why does a minor character out of the blue crossdress?
Ah, 60's B-Movie cinema, how great you are. But as an entry of that series, weak.
But it is quite an offensive movie. It seems to be a slap in the face to transmen and feminists at the same time with the killer's condition. You have to see it to understand why i say that.
I did genuinely enjoy the scenes with the fake nuns dressing and all scenes with Sophie Hardy in them though. Hmmmm, nice.
