I met an eleven year old transgirl today who responded to boys at school calling her 'barbie boy' by telling her mother that they're stupid, because she doesn't even like barbies, she likes bratz. Also, the amount of sass that girl has as she rolls hers eyes is terrifyingly impressive.
I read that rolling your eyes can make you more creative.  If that's true, teenage girls must be the most creative people in the world!

I must say the way that some teenage girls get boys to like them is very, VERY creative indeed. Not always successful, however..

Today, I received a letter from my provincial health plan with a letter: Dear Nina xxxxx. As you are over 50, we invite you to a cervix screening.

Got this letter after I had finally changed my gender marker on my government health plan.

I'd  would've swore that my daughter was the only one who could actually do that.

It's called "Rage Quit Rage Quit" so in case that isn't enough to clue you in, it is FULL of foul language! I was laughing so hard, I could hardly breathe.

Classic! And speaking of classic...

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

A "friend" (acquaintance) posted on fb about "stupid <political leaning people>" and how they want to make kids queer and stuff by allowing boys to wear dresses if they want.

Evolved into a whole cyber bar brawl about transsexualism and its etiology. One of the people in the thread said, "no you have a penis or a vagina, end of story!"

Debate of this kind is child's play. I responded with, "Transgender people have had brain scans and their brains have been shown to be that of their affirmed gender, for example a male to female has shown to have a female brain. A little thing called science, you know."

Finally one of the guys in the the thread said, "Well, R, science also said you evolved from a monkey.. Now by all means you might have but I know I sure didn't"

At that point I knew what I was dealing with and with a chuckle, I just said goodnight...

I can be a bit of a snark at times. Ignorance makes me sad but it occasionally makes me laugh.

I really do need to dump facebook for good.

I just simply unfriend and/or block those type of people. Once they start saying religion trumps science, then you realize that they are just delusional and unwilling to think for themselves. They are reason why dogma exists in religion to begin with.

I really don't put anything useful on FB anymore and I've stopped friending people. My account is deprecated for all intents and purposes.

Doesn't stop me from having a little fun sometimes though.

The amount of times it took to take my new drivers license photo today. Because I had to take my glasses off the room was too bright for my eyes I kept blinking it only took us 4 attempts for her to get the photo taken. We both had a chuckle when I came back to the counter about the time it took

This is one license I'm both dreading (the picture) and excited (addressed to Ms) in getting.

Well, it's pretty obvious that I don't always pass and sometimes that makes me kinda sad  :-\

So anyway this gal I'd met awhile back was stumbling about with the "Let's just be friends" bit

I guess she was expecting to be all sad about it because she seemed a bit taken aback and disappointed when I was all like -

"Right on, cool, I was thinking the same thing, I'm just glad you brought it up first because I was kind of afraid to"

I didn't mean to blow her ego but I really just don't have much time for all that "high school" romance drama stuff anymore

Anyhow, it was all like situation comedy material to me :D

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
