I know that I can pass fairly well, I get a lot of "cheers mate"'s when I'm paying in shops/getting off busses, and people have called me a guy straight out before, as well as one lecturer constantly saying "LADY and gentlemen" to refer to our class with me, a girl and eleven or so guys in (that really riles the girl, I think she thinks she's sticking up for me or something when she corrects him, but its the "correction" that annoys me most.)  At the very least I tend to get young kids asking each other loudly whether they think I'm a "boy or girl".  Then someone compliments me on my haircut and says that "it's not often you can get a short hair cut to look that cute and feminine."  I know I need a haircut, but I'm always scared of it getting cut too feminine -- the hair dressers all know me because it's a small place and we used to run a popular pub -- and I struggle to get the time off work to go and have it cut.  So I'm pretty confused as to whether or not I pass or not, especially as I found out today that some builders spoke to the chef at work and said something about "that boy that walked through here looked pretty miserable," only to be told that I was the waitress, which they didn't believe at all and were adamant that I was a guy, which is brilliant because no one's ever been that confident about my gender before.

Anyway, what do you guys, girls and other peoples think?  Because I'm getting conflicting views on what I am at the minute.

This isn't a furry coat, it's a blanket.  I'm curled up in front of a halogen heater because it's cold enough to see my breath in here.

My body (ish):

And do you think I'm more of an Alex or an Adam?  I'm fluctuating between the two again.

P.S.: Someone please sticky this again?

I like the name Alex, but it's gender-neutral and you might be more likely to be read as female if you use it.  Your face looks like it could be taken either way.  The body shot looks great, though.

You guys like my Adventure Time gloves?

ty.to.the.man

I agree, the face could go either way for me. Body seems to pass though. And I agree with the name, Alex I like better but its gender neutral so that could hinder your passing.

Adam is a pretty sweet name.  Alex of course is gender neutral (beats horse) but I also like that name a lot.

You actually remind me a lot of how I looked as a boy, different hairstyle of course.  Siblings, maybe?  Lol.

@Alex000000: Hard to tell.

@Sly: Pass.

@harmonic_dissonance: Pass as a young guy, about 15.

Here is my pre T and over a year on T.  Do you see any changes? I don't see much. I think I basically look the same. What do you guys think? And I still don't pass. I'm about 50/50 in passing only with my hair short. I don't pass with long hair which sucks cause I really wanna grow out my hair.

               Pre-T                                                    Almost 2 years on T

Here's a full length pic of me with my cousins, and you can see how short I am. It totally sucks. Everyone is taller than me, even my 16 year old cousin is taller than me.

I don't see why not, you have visual facial hair and look like a man.

I know, I don't get it either. I'm blaming my height. I'm just way too short. I thought I was 4'11, turns out I'm 4'8... I guess I shrunk or something.

i don't understand how/why anyone would call you anything other than 100% male.

@KyleXX: I'm guessing it's my height. I just put up a full length pic of me.

Adam (birkin)

Well, your face totally passes as others have said - you've actually got a lot of handsome features, and I'm jealous of that.

your full body pic tells a different story though. Your clothes are a bit large on you, which makes you look even smaller than you are, and you don't look very confident judging by your pose. I'm not necessarily criticizing you for that, because I don't always have a very confident air about myself either and that probably hinders my passing as well sometimes. But when I saw that pic, that was the very first thing that came to my mind.
