Anyway, congratulations! That's amazing news. I've been waiting a year on a first consultation with a gender clinic despite already changing my name and living full time as a woman, and I found out on Monday that a combination of the clinic's incompetency and my own busy life meant that I would be waiting three more if nothing changed. I was absolutely distraught, but my wonderful GP stepped in and saved me, and now I ought to be starting hormones within a month. Point being that I know how horrible it is to feel as if you're getting nowhere, and how fantastic it is when suddenly you see some light at the end of the tunnel. 😀 Stick in there, and do let us know how you get on!
