What binder should I buy?

I'm looking to buy one today. 

I measured, and I am a 39.5 apparently.  D: Right smack in the middle of the underworks sizes.. So which would be better?  Medium or Large?  I see larger guys than me wearing medium, so I'm thinking that would be ok? 

I would hate buying something that didn't fit.

It depends on what binder you are getting. 40 is large on the tri top I believe. Don't go buying a size smaller. Time and time again, I hear trans guys saying to not bother going a size smaller. It ISN'T going to get you flatter but you will be in pain. I mean at the end of the day, it is your choice, but I say you should go with the bigger size.
