To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

Queen Erika

My middle name is Erika, yes indeed... Though my first name is actually Alison.

If you put the meanings of the two names together, it means "Noble Eternal Ruler". I don't quite think the other Erikas have considered that :P

Well, my given name is Jerry actually.  I have thought about changing the spelling to Jeri.  What do you think?

As for me going by Stephanie, I may or may not decide to go with it-haven't made up my mind yet.

No, that's a professional requirement due to the pricing structure of their private treatment. Once you've been, you realise that's what they've done. I'm pretty sure their surname has to be DaFool, too.

Reminds me of the law firm of Ketcham, Cheatham, and Howe.

Hannah

Is my mom the only one who hates my name? I picked it because I didn't personally know anyone else named Hannah, but she was like, "it's the kind of name a man becoming a woman would pick." Er, thanks mom. :P

She wanted to call me Crystal, but my best (guy) friend's girlfriend was named that, so for obvious reasons I'm not exactly comfortable with that. :)

My middle name used to be Hannah lol I'm pretty sure my parents didn't share your mums point of view on that when they named me.
I remember a girl in primary school who was called Crystal and she always had a runny nose and she NEVER used to blow it. It was disgusting, amazing how people can put you off a name isn't it .

As Mr Shakespeare said: "What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

As long as the individual is happy with it, that's what matters, whether they share their name with ten, a hundred, or a thousand other people. :) Besides, "Oi, you over there!" just doesn't have that personal touch. ;D

Above all... remember: you are beautiful, you are valuable, and you have a shining spark of magnificence within you. Don't let anyone take that from you. Embrace who you are. <3

Hah, you want to go with stripper names? My mom almost named me Candy *shudder* That was, until my dad said "well why don't you just go ahead and put a stripper pole in her nursery!' Thank you Dad, haha!! I picked Luke (well, Lucas), and I don't know any other ftm's named Lucas... At least, not personally. Can't wait till I can get my name changed permanently!
What the hell was that?!                 From every wound there is a scar,
Spaceball 1.                                     and every scar tells a story.
*gasp* They've gone to plaid!        A story that says,
                                                        "I survived."

I knew twin girls named Hope and Faith in Jr High.  Later I heard a story from a professor about during Roman times at a checkpoint near Alexandria that a customs official asked a traveler "Do you have anything to declare?"  The answer from the christian traveler was "Just hope, faith, chastity, charity and myself!"  He was levied a customs tax for transporting four prostitutes!  How some things never change.  Chastity and Charity are two more bad names for the girls I knew in the past.  I don't know how Hope and Faith fared, Charity is fine, but Chastity did the strip joint thing.  It is unknown about Chastity now, it has been a while.  I still pray for her, for she is my distant kin.
I thought that my chosen name had the unusual spelling for that name until I came on Susan's and one of the responses that one of my sister transwomen has a daughter by that same spelling.

I love 'Amanda'. It's a beautiful name.

Here are a triplet of three names I'll bet no one has used for girls/women:  Ellandra, Aryl, Kiris

Someone, scoop one up before someone else takes it!

My grandmother, Tina, supported my feminine personality throughout my childhood and she loved me unconditionally. I'm very proud to name myself after her.

Mine is the name of a goddess, of Rome and Anatolia and Greece and Phyrgia & others.  A goddess whose priests were males dressed in female garments who had also castrated themselves.  I appear as the Mother Goddess on a chariot drawn by two lions.
