When your straight dude friend that you haven't seen in years (and suddenly reintroduced) gets a twinkle in his eye and starts asking you weird details leading to "so, are you seeing anyone at the moment?"

Okay, maybe doesn't mean a pass- but that twinkle in his eye sure as hell meant something to me since he #1 used to be my best dude friend and #2 is straight as an arrow! Wow, was not expecting that. Sometimes you can just tell when someone wants to make out with you. And it was there, right there. I almost just went for it out of principle, but I like kissing too much for it to mean nothing.

But then again, he is kind of hot to me now... This is confusing.

Just sent him a fb message demanding that he take me on a date. I'll hold him to it as well.

Does he know who you are yet Jenny? I mean, I'm just curious if you plan to go out with him if your going to let him know?

He actually heard from a mutual friend and sent me a fb friend request. The night we finally got together to catch up and for him to meet the new me is one in the same visit. So I was very surprised to see him react in such a way. We even shared all of our old jokes as dudes just hangin out, only this time it was different (still funny though).

Talking to an older woman and then letting slip in an sentence "... but my girlfriend ......." and getting that look, I figured I'd quit while I was ahead.

My observations about this is that genetic females often refer to another female friend as "my girlfriend" but if a guy were to refer to a male friend as "my boyfriend" there would be a lot of raised eyebrows and snickers.

When talking to an older patient the other week, i let slip "my wife". The poor old girl didnt know what to say so she just said "i never meet one of you before" with a big smile on her face.

There are kind of two people (dudes) that I'm hoping I don't run into around here. While they will recognize my vehicle as long as I'm not in it I doubt they'd recognize me for my face has changed considerably. They're the type that would try and cause problems for me so I'm hoping I'll see them before they see me if it in one of the Wal-Marts or something. I doubt they'll recognize me but only time will tell.

That's awesome Barbie.  I wonder if it would be the same if my wife and I were the same race?  People get so confused by us.  Sometimes they think that some the kids are kids that I gave birth to and some are kids that she gave birth to.

So I haven't been doing HRT long (about 2 months) and no surgery and I was talking with my friends and some guy walks up to us and asks for my number (and I'm also wearing skater top and skater skirt with converse) and I look at my friend Ally and I give her this look like Ally your the only one here who he could actually wants number and she laughed at me leaned in and said "Christie, he meant you." And I start to blush and I'm like "I'm taken." (Which is true) and he's like "well if that ever changes."

Anyone else get little pass moments at 2 months?

WoW! great pass Persona! I would get oogey eyes at the boat ramp from guys at around 2 months but I know that was just my legs they were looking at. My face hadn't changed that much yet so, I doubt it was the whole me at that time they were interested in.

Another Ally? I thought there was only one of me, lol! xD

My face was that way, Andro but favoring femininity, before two months ago. I hated the way I looked soooo much in the face I refused to post a photo on here until recently. It seems though that in the last two months my face has gotten a literal makeover. My nose actually shrank to two thirds of what it once was, and my brows have flattened some which is still continuing to this day. Hrt is giving me my youth back too. So now I'm much happier with how I look and the best part is people I know aren't recognizing me. I can't wait to compare photos from now, to those I take six months from now.

That's the best way for you yourself to notice the changes. When you see yourself in the mirror every day you don't notice them. However if you take a photo of yourself every 3 months and compare it with the 3 month ago photo you see the changes easily.
