Dr. Chettawut did my GRS and also an SMAS facelift. I'm completely happy with the results. He was very conscientious, kind, and careful at every step. After care was excellent, too. I can't speak to his overall FFS skill, but I can't see where he would be less competent. I had FFS done by Facial Team in Marbella, Spain, and highly recommend them.
There are a lot factors that go into choosing an FFS surgeon. The one factor that drove my decision was how the surgeon did forehead recontouring. I was skeptical of surgeons who used burring and filling to recontour the forehead, and particularly Dr. Z who does it endoscopically. That's because the thickness of the bone over the frontal sinus limits the amount of burring that can be safely done with the result often being less than ideal. I wanted forehead reconstruction osteotomy. That meant choosing from Ousterhout, Spiegel, De Maggio, or Facial Team. It didn't consider any surgeons in Thailand. Facial Team did a great job and at a substantially lower price than either Ousterhout or Spiegel.
