I don't know why they changed it to mailing you your ID. Last time I got my license about 4 years ago they printed it out and handed it to me right there. I always assumed it was because it was cheaper this way than having the machines in the office. Plus they changed the license. It used to be just the solid plastic ID card with the info printed on it, but now they put all these seals and watermarks and shiny things and a few clear window cutouts of the state of New Hampshire. They're trying to make them all fancy probably to cut down on fake IDs or something... It's more of a hassle and frankly I don't see the big problem with fake IDs, but that's because I think the biggest problem with "underage" drinking is the fact that adults are considered underage in the first place... Yeah. I was very happy with the way the picture came out, especially since they made me take my glasses off and I haven't seen myself without my glasses in a long while-- ever since my eyes got so bad I couldn't see myself in the mirror without them. The lady actually started getting frustrated at me for not looking into the camera, but I couldn't see the camera... I like the way it turned out, though. I don't think I look too fat, which is awesome. I look more... solid... Chubby baby cheeks, still, but with a nice thick neck and shoulders to make up for it. Probably one of the better pictures I've had of myself in a long time. Good thing, as I'm going to be carrying it around with me and showing it to everyone until I'm 30.
