I'm having just the most AMAZING week!  Yesterday I got my Funding Letter ("Golden Ticket") from the Ministry of Health, and today I got my surgery date!  And not only that, but it's amazingly soon... SEPTEMBER 12!!  I am Soooooooooooooooooo dancing-on-the-ceiling...  :D  ;) ;D :-*

(edit:  Montreal - Brassard, of course!)

Thanks, girls!  I am SO excited, it's even hard to sort out what to say, and of course there are SO many people who want to hear about it.  Not sure how I'll sleep tonight...

Humongous congratulations and a big pat on the back, for a most deserving woman.
I hope you are proud of yourself and the herculean effort you've put into yourself for this. There is a lot of blood sweat and tears that have gone into this.

Just looking at your  "tickers" you are only 6 weeks out of the record Melody set. What is it with you girls? Something you're not telling us? Eh??

Keep us posted and let us know how you are coping. This is real GOOD news, Colleen.

Congraduations, I know you must to be very excited and only 6 weeks is a very short time.  Dr Brassard must of had a cancalation to get a date so soon.  Keep us informed as time get closer.

Thanks, everyone. Just 27 working days left, 57 overall. My surgery will take place almost exactly 2 years after my initial therapist visit. Not bad...
