Having a wonderful friend over, singing The Fox and other songs with my pink ukulele on skype to random people.. so much fun. Then she goes out to party and I am staying home because I'm in such bad shape right now. Let this infection pass quickly.

Happy: Celebrated one of my aunt's birthday today. Had a fun time.

Unhappy:

She's gravely ill, it could very well be her last birthday. She was unusually upbeat today, which got us all a little bit worried. We all got the impression she knows her life is nearing its end and is trying to have some more fun before the end.

The sad part: My mom is stuck in the hardcore denial phase right now. No matter how much of a convincing argument I make as to why I feel the way that I feel she just won't believe that I am a woman. I had a very awkward conversation last night and basically was told that I have the devil inside of me because of my familys previous generations sins and that's why I'm trans...... I keep telling myself that she's just stuck in a phase as she's having to weigh her faith in the bible against my reality of what I'm doing. Still its getting very annoying but at least my dad has been cool with everything so far.

The happy: After that she asked what my next step is. I'm looking for a good specialist to begin lasering my beard away for ever! Then later today I'm going to ask my therapist for a referral to an endocrinologist to begin HRT. I am ready for it and I hope that she sees that too. I can't wait for my session later today now. Mom wasn't happy about the HRT comment but she'll have to get use to it whether she likes it or not. I'm lucky enough to be financially independent and can cut off all ties if all I get is resistance during my transition.

my dog giving me little kisses made me happy, but then he tried to slip me the tongue.

It's almost time for my second shot of T! Assuming I can get in for an appointment because of doctor-related confusion again.
I can have an extra day to finish my lab report, but I still have to do it.
I already finished my bio homework for tomorrow, but there's a really long, run-on sentence that I still need to fix.

Hi.  I was unhappy by my frustration in getting any replies from the myriad of GRS surgeons I emailed re: my revision.

But I was happy when I saw my little cat and my sister.  She cheers me up.  Is this question meant to be gauging trans people's happiness and unhappiness patterns!?   ;)

Nothing wrong with that :D French poodle, by any chance?

I get TONS of kisses from my dog (a lab). He can really give a lickin'. My youngest daughter (2) claims she does not love the dog... and doesn't like him "eating her pants."

He's probably been licking his butt and genitals and wanted to share, how cute!  :D ;D

Now do we really have to go there.  He probably brushed his little doggy teeth and gargled before kissing me. Or at least that is what I choose to believe...

Happy- There is a LBGT-friendly church in our town.  It's Presbyterian so I'm thinking it's probably reformed, which is interesting since lately I've been attracted to the doctrines of Calvinism.

Unhappy-  I would need a car to drive there....something I don't have.  I don't even have a license.

Believe that if you want honey, but he and I both know better!  :icon_ballbounce:

Churches often have assistance for that sort of thing. There may be someone involved in the church who's not too far out of the way to pick you up.

Happy: I've somehow managed to get my voice to deepen a bit without hormones.

Unhappy: Haven't come out to most of my family yet: "...She.................she......she..................she.....................................she......she" *Sigh*
I know I'm going to have to tell them sometime soon, as I'm pretty sure mother will drag her feet through transition unless everyone else knows. She already seems to think this is something to be kept to one's personal family life, never ever to be revealed to outsiders.

Happy: I have top surgery in just about 3 weeks.
Unhappy: I got called 'miss' for the first time in over 8 months.

The negative is outweighing the positive today. :-\
;D Top surgery: 11/21/2013 ;D

If its one time in 8 months, might be nothing to worry about.  I've been called "miss" with a beard and men's clothing and I was born male.
Discord, I'm howlin' at the moon
And sleepin' in the middle of a summer afternoon
Discord, whatever did we do
To make you take our world away?

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?
Discord, we won't take it anymore
So take your tyranny away!

Oh yeah, I don't think it is haha. I'm very grateful that it was such a random occurence but it just brought all that dysphoria right back to the surface, ya know? Sometimes I feel like no matter how manly I look I'll always have this anxiety about being outed in public.

I thought about that.  Perhaps they may have a church van where they pick up people, but I don't like the idea of having to wait around to fellowship afterwards and having to depend on the van to get back when I could just up and leave in a personal vehicle but that's just something I'll have to sacrifice I suppose.

Lovely weather outside, not that it matters because I can't go outside anyways :( Gaaah. Snuck outside to the mailbox and got yelled at for not having socks on by one of the workers here lol. Too cute. And I have a cat lying next to me purring her heart out, but everything gets a little more meh because I'm so ill. :(

Sorry you're still not feeling well, purring kitty cats always made me feel a bit better whenever I got sick in younger days
