Thanks Antonia,  right now I think he is doing great.  Most of the time his cbs is 100-200 so no worries there.  A1C is right where it should be (finally) and he accepts the restrictions better than me.  I will definitely ask if any questions come up though thanks for offering.

Rain, rain and for something completely different more rain all on a long weekend!

Saw my aunt today wanting to talk but as ever she is so preoccupied by so many things that don't matter had no time.
This after she didn't bed out of bed till lunchtime. Really busy. Everything's a drama to her.

Driving home in the, yes wait for it more rain looked in the mirror and saw my sister.

I'm kind of a plant person and have several houseplants that are mainly rescues that various people have nearly killed

Anyway a little back history - The guy who took care of the plants of the lobby in my apt.s passed away and right away a totally incompetent guy asked for the job before I could and the new mgr. said okay even though she had no idea how incompetent the guy is

He is also somewhat of a rude, conceited and annoying braggart who bitches and moans about everyone and everything even though he is almost totally clueless and is one of the people I've rescued most of my plants from

Well, one of the plants was in too small of a pot and had been over watered so it fell out of the pot with the roots exposed

I thought to myself, I could either help someone I don't really like very much or just let it go, I decided to take the high road and help him transplant the plant into a larger pot

Surprisingly he was actually rather receptive to my advise and we got it done

I was just happy to have hopefully helped save a plant

Lost my bus pass when the winds ripped it from between my fingers while standing at the bus stop near the grocery store. But I had some quarters in my pocket so I could pay the bus fare and not have to walk the mile or so back with the groceries.

My roommate told me where I can get a place for $16 a week less than my friend's place, and closer to campus too, assuming I snag an on campus job, or any job at all, to pay for it.
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.

Tonight I went out to dinner and saw family members that I haven't seen in quite some time.  I was sort of dreading this because I look different and didn't know how I would be taken.  Everyone was very nice and receptive.  Since I'm in an awkward situation where I still present male, everyone tries to pretend everything is all kosher even though you know they can tell, especially my chest.  This was also at a restaurant that we used to frequent, but I haven't been to in almost a year.  luckily, I wasn't looked at strangely by the staff, though there was a creepy guy starting at me from the bar.  It was very uncomfortable, and I couldn't tell why he was looking at me.  I've always felt different from men, but lately that difference is even stronger.  Quite frankly, I feel afraid and uncomfortable around some men nowadays.  I know that's not right, but it's how I'm starting to feel.

I guess the fact that everything went okay would be the good news.  The bad news would be that I totally pigged out tonight and feel like a whale.  Those family pics were not flattering to me at all.  I really hate what a giant pig I am.  Feel like crying now.

Happy - third time dressing in pants today. Still can't believe that I pass wearing pants. Have been worried that I might just look like dude - but seems I pass as I don't attract undue stares.

Unhappy - two colleagues slipped up with my dude name today. :( I know, I know, it's only been a month, give them time. Didn't really make me all that unhappy but I wondered if the pants had anything to do with it...?
