My first pair of Doc Martens were red with blue fishes.  :)

I'm lusting after the grey/black ones: http://www.drmartenscanada.ca/1914-w-black-boot-r12107002.html

Which aren't on sale. /sadness

Obviously you posted this just to torture me, Jamie.

Omg, agreed, these are amazing!  :D
Cheers,

I wanted to share my own favorite pair of boots!  I don't think I have picture posting rights quite yet so I found this link!  :)

They're made by Grinders UK and are similar to Doc Martens, but I actually MUCH prefer them having owned both.  PLUS this burgundy wash stole my heart like IMMEDIATELY when I saw them!  I've had them for years now and adore them!
Cheers,

I don't know if there are any fans of Converse out there...but I got these not too long ago and also LOVE THEM!!!

Hope you enjoy!     For those interested, they're full leather.
Cheers,

Those are nice.  The brand name does not ring a bell, however.

I am p-i-s-s-e-d!

The only Doc Marten's in my size are men's boots.  >:(

Totally hot, Jamie.

I'm not exaggerating to say my whole outlook changed when I got my first pair of knee-highs.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

I approve so hard, Jamie. I love buckles.

These are my go-to winter boots. They're not very warm, but they keep the snow out and look hot with skinny jeans.

The laces are too long, hence the balled-up bows. :P Now that I've noticed how awful it looks I'm going to shorten them.

I know, huh.  I really had my heart set on the Docs, but I could not bring myself to buy the mens version for my big feet.   >:(

Knee high boots with 2.5" to 4" heels are an addiction. First thing shopping is looking for some.
It really pisses me off to find a pair I like, only to find they don't stock them in my size or don't make them in my size.
It can really ruin my day sometimes.
But it is fun to hang with the ladies in the shoe dept, discussing how different shoes and boots look on each other.
I get some weird looks on occasion, but I like it that most of the woman think more guys (how they see me) should be wearing boots with higher heels.
Although they draw the line at a nice pair of 'come ->-bleeped-<- me' pumps.  :)
They just haven't seen me in a skirt, yet.  ::)

I strongly approve.

I still need to find a pair of combat boots for myself. My stupid difficult feet.

I have enough boots, but those purple Doc Martens...that is totally my color. I want!

Ehrmagerd. I have been lusting after a pair of docs for a while. I love those purple ones. LOVE.

My go to fashion is a flow-y skirt with combat boots, but I have wanted to upgrade to a pair of docs for years. I have always kind of loved the style of River Tam from firefly (played by Summer Glau) and I cannot gush enough about Doc Martens.

My next boots need to be patent.  And I need to find a pair of patent Mary Janes (My feet are big--men's 11 so this not so easy)

For reference, the last boots I got:
