I am beyond happy right now. I have had such a difficult run with dilation and now I am officially passed 1 year post op and I had to dilate two- 3 times a day in order to maintain depth and width up until this point. Well I had a trip to flordia with some girlfriends who have no idea about my "t" stuff so I had to sneak dilate while they slept so needless to say I didnt get much dilation done. Well I went 2 days without dilating and I was prepared for some serious work when I got back home to get myself back to normal. Well I didnt have ANY issues getting my dilators in to depth. It was alittle tight but it wasnt bad. I am so beyond happy after how much work and time I spent on dilation, never giiving up no matter how hard it was or how much depth was lost that I finally am able to skip a day here and there if I need to!!! I will still dilate once every day for awhile since I dont think it is smart to go from twice a day to once every other day drastically, but words cannot express how happy I am at this moment! So any girls out there having a difficult time with dilation I hope you take inspiration from my story even if it takes you 18/24 months. Aslong as your hitting depth and maintaining width. IT WILL get easier eventually!
