Police: SEPTA Trolley Driver Stabbed By Transgender Woman

SETPA Police are investigating a trolley incident that left the driver injured after a passenger who often refused to pay the fare allegedly stabbed him.
According to SEPTA, Collingdale Police responded to a report of a stabbing on a SEPTA trolley near Woodlawn and McDdate early Friday morning.
Police say when they arrived, they found the trolley driver hunched over and bleeding.
The driver told police a transgender woman who allegedly never pays stabbed him when he told the suspect they would have to pay.

Police say they were called 12:11 a.m. to Woodlawn and MacDade in response to reports of a stabbing. Arriving officers found the trolley driver standing outside, hunched over, and bleeding from the face.
The driver told police that the man, who normally dresses as a woman, always gets off in Sharon Hill without paying.
The driver apparently had enough and told the man he had to pay.
