Spent 2 hours singing close harmonies with friendly posh people - my friend running the class referred to me as "she" and no-one batted an eyelid :).

I spent my evening in deep intellectual conversation with Caleb discussing the book, 'Orlando'. And got to chat a little while with Tigger. I miss my pc. But I love my iPod.

Caleb thinks I could survive University. Which I found flattering. ^_^

People automatically assume I like women now which is nice.
Back in the day despite it being blatantly obvious I didn't, people assumed I liked men to be 'polite'.
It really bugged me.

They're voting Republican?

That would be plain old common sense  ;)

No, this person has grown by leaps and bounds in just a few weeks.

I could not be more proud, even if they were my own kid.

As a result of replying to a transphobic comment on the L-Project's FB page, I've been asked to join their blog site, and write a blog post about my family situation (trans* parent with a non-binary trans* child).

Very cool!

I finally got a letter through for my second consultation for top surgery. It's not till November and my GC requested it in July but at least I have a date now. Then once that's over I have to wait for my surgeon to see me and then wait for a surgery date. I was hoping to have the surgery done this year, doesn't look like that's happening.. But still at least I'm moving forward again.

Ah, nice! ;D Congrats. I should be getting my referral in November and then we will see how long I have to wait. Apparently our clinics are pretty booked.
