Finally getting some good solid sleep after wrestling the insomnia monster most of the week  :)
The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Learning Russian can be fun! Most of the words roll of the tongue, it's very pretty on the ears :P
I can see me
I can see you
Are you me?
Or am I you?

Nice ride up to Ross on the Suzuki, then spending the day with my new girlfriend at a Vintage Car rally of all places.  She drives a classic Hillman.
Also being introduced as her girlfriend to all her old friends who are rapt she has a partner.  :)  Very proud of my brave lady.
And discovering that kissing girls, as a girl, is just sooooooooo much better.

Karen.

Went to NY Dreams Hot Dog parlour in Glenelg Australia. Been opened by an ex NY basketball player and his wife.

My wife was looking so forward to it, she is an ex-USA and cannot get a decent (? is there such a thing?) in Australia. She was covered up in her wheel chair and couldn't move her arms or legs. We got a menu and I told the two staff what was going on. The place stopped, they still served others but Rebecca was at the front and was allowed to read through the menu and make her choice, a "Harlem Chilli Dog" it looked disgusting. She loved it. Fantastic staff and customers. People are nice when you give them a chance.

Cough ' I had a Rookie Dog 'cough.

What is wrong with a pie floater?

The "City of Churches" is descending into The Pit at a rapid rate by the sound of things.   Glad Rebecca enjoyed her day out, nice touch of the land of her birth.
Think I am going to cry.

Split the difference - I sometime have a hot dog floater: pea soup with frankfurter (veggie, in my case) sliced into it - pretty damn good.

They were so nice I almost lost it myself and I don't do that any more. The owner was'is an ex pro NBL and about 15foot tall and about 500 ilbs (well seemed like it), and really really nice. His hand hid the hot dog!!

Beautiful people.

Though I'm feeling sad remembering my friend who I lost to a fire when she was 17 (I dreamt about her last night), I'm so happy to have had 5 years of her lovely company and friendship, when we were teens together. I've just sent messages to a load of our friends, asking for photos. You made one of the big differences to my life, thanks Kath xx

You are damned to eternal suffering, sorry but there are some points in the holy book* that have to be observed.

She was a fortunate woman to have known you. Dwelling on dead friends is good. Stay safe  Kath, I never had the privilege of knowing you. But your spirit is alive.

My mom is up here to visit for a few days. She went to an LGBT bar with me on Friday night. This was the first time she was out with me as Brooke, and the first time she had been to an LGBT place. It was fun.  Today, one of my trans friends texted me, and said she hopes my mom has a safe trip home. She told me to tell my friend that it was good to meet her, and she was glad my friend was there Friday, because it made her feel more comfortable. This made me happy, because my mom who is new to all this felt comfort from one of my friends who is trans, and my mom knows she is trans.

That is so great Brooke. Moms are important to a girl!

Brooke that is indeed a very happy experience.

What made me happy today was when I was trying to read in bed my kid crammed herself up next to me and started talking and my cat stretched himself out on top of the book. It was annoying but really the best kind of problem to have. :)

A friend in a manic-panic phoned me up, and we talked crap to each other for over an hour until he calmed down. Then he rang me back to ask whether the alarm on his landline phone is a famous piece of classical music (it really, really isn't). Anyway, we both felt better by the end :).

I had to get my drivers changed to reflect my updated address...as I go to sign the paper required to confirm that all is accurate, I see:

Sex: M

;D So when it comes in two weeks or so, I'm going to have a license that is entirely accurate.

I have a stack of orders for woolen items for my family.  (I finished my own knitted cap, and now everyone wants one.)  An extra long white cap for my mom to fit over her tied-up hair, and to match the customized scarf I already made her.  A dark one for my brother.  A grey one with ear flaps for my granddad.  The last one's to be a surprise, but the others were requested.  They'll be Christmas presents.

Nose back to the grindstone!  It'll be a few weeks of spinning just to make all that yarn. ::)

Me, me, I want one too!
Be careful putting your nose to the grindstone that you don't grind off your face Liam!  :D
