This may seem trivial to some but it gave me such a buzz

A few weeks ago I bought a new phone on contract, long story short the coverage was awful and the phone was dodgy. I've spent many hours on the phone trying to get someone to sort it out and getting nowhere.
So today I went back to the store where I got it and kicked up a fuss. I was 100% confident and adamant that I was right and refused to leave until I was satisfied with the solution to my problem. The store manager then intervened and broke all of their policies by letting me cancel my current contract, sign up with a new network, gave me an upgrade on the handset, and doubled the amount of data and minutes...for an extra 50p on the price.
Not that long ago I wouldn't have had anywhere near enough confidence in myself to do something like that, and it paid off big time

I'm really starting to like the new me.
