A love interest said they would come to my house today. Around the time they were supposed to come, I gave them a call, no answer. I tried several more times, no answer. Eventually the phone went straight to voicemail, and hours passed and there was no sign or word of them. I get real paranoid when I expect to see or hear from a person and then don't. I usually assume they were hurt and likely died, despite all logic and rationality saying that this is improbable.

Turns out the person is still alive. This made me happy... But I wish I was never so disheartened in the first place, so paranoid. I feel my hair is greying even more.

It's good that they're ok. Still sucks that they stood you up though.  :-\

No issues thus far.

Another thing that made me happy. I went to the bank to change my name there, and the guy at the door asked for my debit card. When I handed it to him (it has an old picture of me on it) he looked at it, looked at me, then asked "why do you have (insert old male name) card? You do know I am going to have to report this."  I smiled and handed him my court order for my name change. He was shocked!

That's great. I still look at my debit card and smile before I swipe it.

My binder arrived today, and, after much flailing and struggling, I got it on and it does a decent job!

Yay!! My latest pair of new shoes have just arrived. Now that i've found somewhere to buy reasonable priced size 10 ladies shoes there's no stopping me, for most of my male life I owned 2 pairs of shoes, one was a pair of trainers & the other was a pair of steel toe capped boots for work.
I now own 8 pairs of shoes & have 4 more pairs on the wanted list, I love deichman's selection of shoes, the most expensive pair of boots on their website are only £30, on any other shoe site you'd be lucky to get a bog standard shoe that cheap in size 10

Good plan, looks like you're on a roll. We all step into the "start" with some trepidation but each step is a confidence builder and we do what we do because we are who we are!

This may seem trivial to some but it gave me such a buzz :P

A few weeks ago I bought a new phone on contract, long story short the coverage was awful and the phone was dodgy. I've spent many hours on the phone trying to get someone to sort it out and getting nowhere.

So today I went back to the store where I got it and kicked up a fuss. I was 100% confident and adamant that I was right and refused to leave until I was satisfied with the solution to my problem. The store manager then intervened and broke all of their policies by letting me cancel my current contract, sign up with a new network, gave me an upgrade on the handset, and doubled the amount of data and minutes...for an extra 50p on the price.

Not that long ago I wouldn't have had anywhere near enough confidence in myself to do something like that, and it paid off big time ;D I'm really starting to like the new me.

Good going and not at all surprising now that you're on T. Prior to my transition I was just an in-your-face, Type - A Chloric personality with very little patience for other people's BS and drama. Now sixteen years into female HRT and I have moved to a Type - B very laid back personality, although in a crisis I can quickly dredge up the old me if necessary.

Totally. I was convinced that nothing would fix these knockers, but the binder actually made me look like I had decent pecs!

Another good thing happened! I got my latest case of wine in today (my line to Himself was "It's for Xmas, honest guv!"), and it had free wine in it! 4 free bottles, one of them an expensive magnum of fancy Rioja! I'm going to be utterly trampolined at Xmas!

Hmmmm a fellow wino! I love the stuff, go to tasting sessions and fill my rack with my faves, but now avoid drinking them on other than special occasions and holidays when guests are over. Because of my Norwegian/Finnish/French ethnicity I can be a prolific drunk and I know for certain that wine has more calories than I want to wear. BTW - Congrats on the new pecs, nice!

The nice 57 year old lady fitting me for the prostetic shoe inserts said that she couldn't believe that I'm 60!  She and the 50 year old Belgian man she was instructing at the same time was surprised by my youthful looks.

I am indeed a fellow wino. I'm Scottish, drunkenness doesn't run in my family, it gallops!
