I had a productive and uplifting session with my therapist today.

That's great!  :)

Just got off the phone with a friend of mine and tomorrow will be the first time in over 12 years that I haven't had to see a movie by myself.  :)
Answers are easy. It's asking the right questions which is hard.

I got a letter forwarded to me from my GP, she has referred me to a gender clinic in my area (rather than at the other end of the country) and it basically said that they will strive to get me in ASAP seeing as I'm already on T, but in the mean time have referred me to an endo who has experience with trans people to monitor my levels and has recommended that my GP administer and prescribe my T in the mean time to ensure there's no gaps in my treatment :D woohoo it's all going well, I was so worried I wouldn't be able to get my next shot anywhere near in time.

May seem like nothing and a bit sad, but the girl I've loved for nearly the past 3 years gave me her number and we had a heart to heart about how we both felt about our friendship and she wants to come to a party of mine. It felt incredible to finally have that discussion with her.

I passed once today. 8 months on T and passing is still a rare luxury. It was with a friend's grandfather...he said I seemed like a "very nice young man."

Eating a bowl of Janet's chili. Yes, THE Janet. It was vunderbarr. Even without anything spicy in it, which Janet will tell you is a miracle for me.

Oooh. Now I want chili really bad. Lol.

This morning (well, one sleep ago :P early AM) I got to have a really nice chat with Keaira and we watched some Wandering Son episodes. That made me happy. :)

What kind of cheeses, Deeper? :P

Hereford Hop, Wookey Hole, Gjetost, Highland Caboc, and Bonnet.

Are you familiar with any of those?

At work I had some time alone with a guy helping him out, (my well-meaning colleagues were not present to wreck it with their pronoun misuse) and he was totally comfortable with me as a young dude.  I haven't had many first meetings not be weird.  Ever.  All my life I've been confusingly androgynous, or confusingly too young.

So nice huh? We need a few victories occasionally!

Nope...  May I ask what they're like?

Of course!

Hereford Hop is a mature English cheddar style cheese, rolled in hops for a savoury flavour.
Wookey Hole is a cave aged, mature cheese (also English), which is tangy and strong.
Gjetost is a caramel-coloured Norwegian cheese, which is actually quite sweet, with a toffee-like flavour.
Highland Caboc is a soft Scottish cheese, rolled in pinhead oats, and has a very butter-like texture and flavour.
Bonnet is a mild, slightly citrussy English hard goats' cheese.

Living in Scotland means I'm surrounded by awesome cheeses.

Alas, my local cheese shop didn't have any of my other favourite, Murcio al Vino (Drunken Goat) goats' cheese. Its soaked in red wine, giving the cheese a lovely fruitiness.

I'm a bit geeky about cheeses, hehe.

That's so great to hear! I just bought someone a compression tee as their first binder for xmas. Reading what you wrote makes me feel even more like it's worthwhile. Seeing people happy makes me happy.

Feeling happy for Phoeniks too, sometimes it's the little things that can make a big difference!
