Deven,
That is a great story and what a wonderful guy your boss is! A lot of folks could learn a thing or two by his terrific example of how to be a real human being!

Phone just rang

"Hello?"

Oh Hiya Chris(my partner) thought you were at work, is Nick there?

"haha, it's me, he is at work"

...what...REALLY? oh wow, well I bet that made you feel good

"it did yes =D"

I guess I didn't notice when I could see you in front of me but your voice is SO deep now

______________

Well the appearance may not be convincing but the voice certainly is, phone pass score!  :D :D

This happened the other day, but it still makes me smile. I had just crossed the street, passing in front of the bus that I needed to catch to get to my therapist's. I ran to catch the bus before it closed its doors, and right then the high winds gusted and lifted my wig right off my head and flung it towards the busy street. However, I felt it happen and blindly reached back and plucked it out of the air above me and then with both hands shoved the wig back down on my head - a bit skewed but who cares - and stepped onto the bus.

No one said anything or smirked, but I complimented the bus driver on his shiny new bus, and he said to me "It's sure windy today isn't it Ma'am!" I laughed and said "It sure is!"

Good on you Maddie, that is exactly how it should be. Many woman wear wigs, we have no need to apologise for anything.

I saw "The Hobbit" in theatres and bought three new books today. :)  I also am now the proud parent of an albino Lionhead Rabbit.

1.  I loved it!  Yes, a lot was different than the book and there was a lot of embellishment, but that was fine by me.  The overall premise was the same and the actors were true to the characters that they were portraying.  The acting was generally wonderful, the effects were spectacular, and the movie had me hopping up and down like a squirrel on caffeine.  I can't wait to see the second and third movies!

2.  Lionhead Rabbit (not mine, mine's white with pink eyes].  Basically, it's a rabbit with a lion's mane. XD

Hahaha Oh Mattie, only you could have pulled that off with such grace, that was just terrific! Nice polite bus driver too!

It's a cute breed. :3  I'll have to get a picture of Cherry up, though.  She's adorable!

I have read it. ^^ I love the book so much!  The movie did the first part justice in my opinion.  I liked the LotR series, but the second book was far too boring for me.  There just wasn't enough action.

Which one's that one?  I just know I saw it in theatres and it wasn't in 3D [something that makes me sick regardless of what the movie is].

I got the 4-disc collector's edition of the movie Prometheus from my fiancé as a Christmas present. ;D Basically the only thing I really wanted to have.
I think I'll watch it later today and eat some pizza!

Someone from my EMT class gave me a 3-pack of white t-shirts. See, now that's a good present: something I'll use a lot.

I posted a photo of me on my facebook. It's been a while since folks last saw me. I've gotten a lot of positive comments, Not only here but on my Facebook too, including one from one of my dearest friends from College where he said I look attractive. It's a nice self esteem booster.  So thank you for the comments. ^_^

Of course you did! ;D

I was getting dressed and I looked at my face in the mirror and I noticed how much my mouth has changed. I still have bigger lips for a guy, but they are no longer as red as they used to be. With my lower face widening, they are more spread out and masculine-looking, and will probably get more so in time. It's such a huge relief. It's comparable to how I felt when I noticed my hips getting smaller. I've actually gotten angry with people who pointed out my mouth in the past (usually a comment on how "pretty" it was), so I don't even think I can put into words how much more at ease I feel right now.

Glad you're feeling better about yourself mate, you deserve it!  :)
