I found a YouTube channel belonging to a FtM who transitioned in middle age. For some reason, his videos made me feel a little more comfortable about considering transition than most other videos of trans guys my own age.

(Why are older trans guys so rare? Is it just me?)

I'm finally going to get off work for a couple days at the end of the week, but then I have to work a couple days on first shift afterwards. They are bringing someone in from another store to work 4 days to give us some time off.  Oh well, I suppose may as well find out how I like it as I can decide to switch to that shift for the most part when we do hire someone new. Lets hope the whole getting up at 430 am works out.

Got back from new year socialising, happy but very tired and peopled-out - to discover that I prepared for this eventuality by stashing away a small gluten-free xmas pudding for me. Let the sugar-shock commence!!! Ahem. I love my Ninja Unconscious.

Oh yes, I've got my Wrench Wench thing goin' on - got back to no heating/hot water - asked the barmaid (I live over a pub) and she said they had no hot water either, we'd have to wait for one of the owners to bowl up later. I got her to let me into the boiler room and sorted it in a couple of minutes - for behold, I am the Boiler Whisperer! (and now I get to have my bath... ).

Update: OK, she won best out of...13. As in, I had 6 wins, she had 7, she was tired of playing and now it's movie time. I could have caught up given more time.
