Yesterday evening, I got she-gendered by two complete strangers (one in a pub, one at choir) - I think it's because my hair is a bit longer now, it's funny what makes the difference. And then the same thing happened in a dream last night :).

Turned in an application for a second job, two days off in a row, and my therapist told me she will give me the letter for hormones.

Good luck hon.

I feel awesome today.
I feel like myself and I like myself, so this makes me happy.
I have two new friends. TWO! One of them is a geek too.
I am officially out as trans at my school aka my teachers know (mostly). So many people are fine with it. I feel so validated and supported.
I am making myself a tuna sandwich and tuna is delicious.
That IS AWESOME to be finally living your life. I am so glad for you. You are building a network of people who see and validate and adore the unique geeky man you are! *hugs*

Gay porn.

Oh wait no. Even better - I don't know if it will work out but I got a consultation appointment with a surgeon for next month. That makes me very happy.

Yay.

The fire here in Tassie are finally pretty much out or under control.

Waking up next to the girl I love.

New (to me) German medieval metal, delicious spicy fish that my son also likes, it's the weekend (woohoo!) and the things that were stressing me this week got sorted out, I really like this music, and the usual one I could say every day: I really like myself.

I'm having top surgery in a week.

On the other hand, I wish I had more people to talk to. I'm timid and don't have enough self confidence yet to talk to people most of the time (and this doesn't make me happy).
Meow.

Jason, I know how hard the waiting for surgery has been for you, so this is probably the best news I've heard in a while.

Yeah...it's been longer than I would've liked it to been.
So, I appreciate that, Caleb. Thanks.

Congrats! Hope it helps the self-confidence level. It did some for me. Though I'm still struggling with social anxiety.
