Actually, I really like exercising in the cold as well cause I also feel more accomplished somehow. I just worry about tripping on the ice and breaking my face, lol.

I've just had a good day, so far, today.

I was "fed" at church this morning, had a productive research trip in San Francisco for another book I'm working on, had a very productive session with my therapist, finished reading an excellent young adult lesbian/coming out novel, and started reading a poignantly funny gay male young adult novel.

Although the Texans lost, I'm still happy that J.J. Watt finally got to sack Tom Brady. Whoooooo #99!

Cleaning out the deepest, darkest corners I found piles and piles of old 'manuscripts' from when I was little that I don't remember writing.  I have two primary conclusions: first of all, I was pretty damn good then and maaaaybe everyone's not bs-ing me when they tell me I'm good now.  Secondly, I don't appear to have ever written a happy story in my life.

(typing this as a break from my current work, which is rather morbid indeed)

Just got back from visiting on the other side of town, took Jake to visit his little brother. It was neat to see how much alike their actions are even though they have been separated since they were 6 weeks old.
