Finally got up the nerve to call the dentist and make an appointment for him to fix the jaggedyness I was left with after all the recent root canals and fillings. It's shredding my tongue but I just think about going back to all those tools and smells and noises and DO NOT WANT. It'll be alright though and I'm super happy about getting my teeth smooth enough to not cut me.

So today i had to work in London and it involved two 3 hour coach trips, and on the way home I was listening to my music and thinking of you and I had the interesting experience of actually feeling the flavour in my brain (for want of a better word) of what it was like to be one of a pair of sisters as opposed to one of a rag-tag-team of big bro lil sis (rag tag because so much of our childhood involved tree climbing - we were pretty well clothed all in all as I recall ) One tall brunet sister and one short blond sister...as a sort of matched set. Perhaps it was because when we were giggling at each other while the boys talked computer games the other day I was thinking how alike we really do look.
Or maybe it was the bra size discusion...

As for what made me happy today, I have an appointment next month for both a gender clinic a mere hour from my house (sure beats travelling to the other side of the country!) and also one for a trans specialist endo.

I only asked for the referral just before christmas, I got a letter back a few days after I asked saying their waiting list was really long but they would keep me posted. When they said really long I didn't think they meant only two months, I'm over the moon with that wait time! Transitioning really is a post code lottery.
