Rockin! Love it :-)

Today my new avatar picture made me smile. My daughter told me I need to get a smaller nose though! lol

I joined a dating website last week out of pure boredom! I really did not think anything would come from it. I did put my picture up on it, and did not think I passed in the picture but, quite a few people have asked about when I gave birth to my son. So yay! Anyway, yesterday I instant messaged with a girl for about 4 hours. Then, we exchanged phone numbers and have texted till about midnight. I really hope I'm going to be able to meet her in person soon. BTW, she knows I am trans and does not care at all. In fact, she is pre-op as well so we share that too.

Glad you've had success Brooke :), I joined up on gaydar a couple of weeks ago on a lark, put up a pic (sans wig obviously), got a load of messages from guys old enough to be my dad, deactivated my account  :P Not sure the internet things right for me lol

I'm sorry your experience wasn't good. I hope you the best of luck in the future.

I finally figured out what I could do about my hair!, or rather I finally found me a hairstyle that I'm happy with. I'm not a fan of my hair, but now I think I might be able to live with it. :P

Thx, I might try it again at some point in the future, but for now I'm okay being single anyway :)

Cool! I used to be a bassist/singer for a metal band, I had a 5-string black Ibanez that I called Sleipnir, lol. Have fun with your new toy! Do you already play, or will you be learning it anew?

Noticing DeeperThanSwords's use of the word "toffs." Had to look that one up. I love new words. :)

There's me letting on how terribly, terribly British I am (well, Scottish, but still...). I own 5 teapots, that's all you really need to know, lol.

I just figured it had something to do with tossers, possibly I wasn't too far off  >:-)

Yeah, it's a snobby rich person, usually of the nobility, it's very rarely used as anything other than a perjorative. Our government is currently run by them, poorly.

I used to be on OKC, but disabled my account. Might start a new one, for the 'new' me, as I previously made some good acquaintances through it. The one relationship I got into through it ended unhappily, but I don't hold that against the site.

What made me happy today was that I got lots of housework done. Himself took charge of the bathroom and now it looks great. I'm bushed though!

Some local Buddhist women who are therapists, healers and suchlike want to start a therapy centre as a women's livelihood enterprise. And they've asked me whether I'd like to do their admin, books, and front-of-house. I feel really affirmed by this - and it's also a safe way for me to get back into employment, doing worthwhile work with a team of good women.

Thanks, yes, I really hope this pans out. It's the second time in a week I've been invited to participate in a women-only situation - I believe I'm arriving :).

I play a little Banjo and Mandolin so I'm not a total beginner but this is my first base.  I've basically wanted to be the hot chick who plays base since I was fifteen so I am SUPER happy right now XD
