Just realized what the mysterious pain in my right leg is from.  I've been driving AND sewing a ton these last two months and my leg hurts from working the pedals. Doh!

I'm happy because I'm starting to realise and feel that my transitioning is starting to come to an end, alot quicker then I thought it would, but it just feels right, and I feel almost complete now.

Oh, and after going out to buy me naughty things (candy and soda, I shouldn't eat these things. :P ) I was stopped on the street by a girl who gave me a nice compliment about my hair.

I went shopping and bought women's tops and jeans.  From the first pair I tried on I knew there wouldn't be any going back!  I feel great!

That's great! Was this your first girly-girl shopping event?

I had a good, productive session at longsword training, then came home to find I've won a binder in a trans poetry competition!

Yes it was.  A while back I stealth bought a couple of dresses at the thrift shop, but I'm not counting that. Today I went with the sole purpose of trying on and purchasing jeans and shirts, then went out to buy a pair of shoes.

So, I guess after I get my hair styled, I will have slipped into full-time mode  ;D

Congratulations Orihime. :)

What made me happy today was today I got a little TEAC cd/mp3/radio machine that has speakers and an aux jack so I can finally listen to my cd's again. I'm not sure if I can rig the record player to it with the cords that I've got but it's so nice to be not just stuck with tapes. It was only fifteen dollars and has really nice sound for it's size.

Managed to get back on track and lose a bit more weight, so yay! :-) Almost at my target weight now :-)

So I looked in the mirror tonight and saw something different and unexpected. For the first time I was someone different as a whole, not the old me looking back. It was strange and sort of exiting as I see my body differently from before. Gone is most of my body hair after a few laser sessions. I have not started HRT but have been on some hair loss medication for a few months which does have some potential effects.
Anyway either way it put a unexpected smile on my face today.

Jenny & Steph, that's great to hear!  :)

Today, I am tentatively happy, as I may be getting a volunteer placement at my local library, which, if I get it, will be a great foot in the door, so to speak, for eventually getting a good job that I can be safe and comfortable in! It's initially doing one-to-one basic IT skills training, but possibly with more in the summer when there are activities going on.

I found out that there is a typical difference between the way men's and women's arms are hung.
What I read was that a typical male, when he hangs his arms straight at his side an then turns his hands until they are palm forward (anatomical neutral) his arms will remain straight and unbent at the elbow.  The typical female whene in the anatomical neutral position, her forearm will be on an aproximatley 30 degree outward angle from her upper arm.

My arms are attached the same as the "typical" female.

This made me happy this morning.   :)
Oh how I wish for wings that work.

I woman that I have had a crush on but could not do anything about because she was married is now separated from her wife. It's great because she has feelings for me too. So, we are going to start seeing each other. Yay!

Congrats!  For some reason, the way you worded that made me smile.  It's so cheerful!

I'm happy because my therapist said that she would be willing to write my top sugery letter in our next session when I save up the money.  I was particularly concerned because I told her that it's my intention to get top surgery and still live my life as a woman for the next few years.  She seemed to be fine with that.  I feel like my life is moving foward, slowly, but surely.
