Then we can safely assume that it wasn't over after all and that you're back together?

Yeah, we had a long, long chat about what happened and concluded we had both made some errors.. We then decided to give it another go. So far, so good!

Great, those long conversations really do work! Been having them at least weekly with the Lil SO about my TG condition, it's the only thing coupled with love that keeps this relationship on the rails.

I've been having a debate/argument on C&VG's website with a bi man who has an issue with the T in LGBT, i've just finished a long post putting him back in his little hole.
I gave him the rope & he hung himself with these nuggets:

Being lumped with Transgender only reinforces the stereotype of effeminate and womanly gays

if you were born a man, and are attracted to women, just because you choose to emulate what you think a woman should be like does not make you a 'lesbian'. That's just muddling things. It would not mean that you would have to be classified differently to before. Because how you act and dress does not define your gender.

I visit this site most days to check on gaming news but this man annoyed me so much I set up a profile just to challenge his issues with trans people

He doth protest too much! Which is almost always an indicator that he may be harboring resentment because of some deeply closeted gender identity issues of his own.

Went on a shopping spree of sorts at Victoria's Secret with one of my GG roommates- properly gendered the entire time :D

Among stuff that I got... the bombshell bra... hello C cup! Lol

I get all my tops from VS, love the quality and clingy fit. Their bras are especially pretty, unfortunately they don't have any with bras with band sizes for a Sherman Tank. :'(

OK, so the weather front nicknamed 'The Beast from the East' has well & truly hit the little West of England town where I work. The wind chill factor is taking temperatures down to -15 degrees C and it was so cold I think I froze my nuts off at lunchtime (so that's where they went!) ;)

Anyway... I wandered off into town to get some lunch, and in doing so I walked past a couple of homeless guys shivering at the side of the road.

I bought an extra two cups of tea and handed them out to them on my way back to work. The reaction of the second guy in particular was absolutely wonderful. :)

You're a good guy, that was very kind of you!

Thanks Shan! I do it in memory of a homeless guy who used to hang out in the car park across the road from my college in Johannesburg, back in the 1980s. We kids used to give him food, drinks & old clothing - which is as much as teenagers could possibly do to help.

Then after one brutally cold winter night when the temp had dropped well below freezing, I turned up at college the following morning to see cops & paramedics in the car park across the road. Turned out our homeless friend had frozen to death in the night. :(

Since then, whenever it gets brutally cold I think of him and reflect with gratitude that I have a roof over my head, a warm bed to sleep in & food in my stomach. Then I try to do a little act of kindness for someone else in his shoes.

Heart & hormones...

My gender Doctor assistant in a physical noticed my heart skipped a beat. Told my GP & had an echo ultrasound plus wearing a heart monitor halter for 24 hours, test results are good, normal & no problems. If there had been I thought that might be a problem for going on hormones, so that is the one possible obstacle I know of removed. I see my gender Doc tomorrow to go over the hormones pros/cons & risks over the next few appointments.

I am so Happy!

That's good news Jamie, I'm so pleased for you hon! My doc heard something extra in my chest and sent me up for an ultrasound and it turned out that I have a real strong heart and that the murmur is because it gives the valve an extra hard squish when it closes on each beat.  :eusa_dance:

I bought cheese buns. They may not be healthy, but they taste good.

The lovely weather outside, I was able to go for a short walk and enjoy the cactus blooming.

HI Shan.

Thanks love. My Mom had a heart murmur all her life, she eventually had a pacemaker the last five years & lived to 83 years of age. Yes, the valve & that hard squish sounds like a strong heart you have. I heard that squish on my ultrasound too. Sounds like we have strong hearts to get us to a ripe old age! Is it too much to ask for 90 ish?! I could wear greedy. lol
Hugs

I got contacted by the organizers of an LGBTQ conference at Princeton Uni, asking me to participate in the program. They are going to try to spring for my air ticket; I am waiting to hear back on that. *crossing my paws*
