I was watching my 11 months on T video and I saw a guy. I also thought I looked kind of handsome, for the most part. Certainly beats the dysphoria I've felt lately.

My PT measured me today, my biceps are up 2 inches from the start of the year! 16 inches around! So proud of my guns!

How did the wine gig go? Did you post that somewhere?

There's a spriggan in my tv show. ;D

Just received a letter from the GIC - they want to see me next month!

That's much better than what my original GIC did, which was to sit on my paperwork for 7 months without even processing it, let alone offering me an appointment.

Woohoo! Strap in, kids - we're off on a big adventure!  ;D

That's not happened yet, I'm going away to Dusseldorf on the 24th and coming back on the 27th.

AND I got called sir at Walmart while buying a bathroom set. I wasn't even making a conscious note to myself to keep my voice at its lowest register. I'm getting "sir" and "man" all over the place lately.

Seriously, I went from never passing at all, to seeming to pass all the time within like 6 weeks. This is epic. I'm trying to get comfortable with the notion that people see me as male most of the time now. It's great, but I was seen ONLY as female for so long, I have a hard time believing I've actually "crossed over." Like I'm afraid if i get toooo happy about it it'll get snatched away and I'll be seen as a girl again.

But I can't help but grin. ;D

I just came out to my 25 year old brother. His reaction was basically 'I wondered why you were depressed for so long.' and 'Wait, so are you still my sister?'

I said, 'how about if I"m just your sibling for now.' And he seemed satisfied with that. I feel so thankful to have open-minded, easy-going siblings!! (my sister's reaction was basically: huh. interesting. Wait does this mean you'll be able to run faster than me?'

Now I just get to worry about telling my father, but I feel much more confident knowing my siblings have my back.

I listened to the acoustic version of my favourite song. It's definitely as good if not better.

Lambing could start any time; we're officially in that window.  Doesn't look like any tonight but they'd be a tad early tonight, so I'm happy to have 'em wait. :icon_joy:

We going to get to see some photos when they come?

Oh prob'ly so ;D

Thanks, they're always so cute!

I raised a wiener piglet once at a friend's farm and took my wife to see how cute the little thing was. I picked it up and it took a big dump on my feet and screamed in my face. My wife said, "OMG how repulsive, put it down!" seems like once he hit 160 lbs and was rendered into, hams, chops, bacon and sausage that she liked him just fine!  ;D

working on my model, chatting with Caleb and watching Deep Space Nine. All in one day.

And I had this Private message waiting on me this morning in a 3D thread:

I'd like to thank you for using your photo as your avatar. Every time I see it I smile! You have such a lovely smile it's contagious.

I decided I need more singing in my life, so I rejoined the choir I sang for a couple years ago. Everyone who remembered me was really sweet and welcoming, and I got a bunch of compliments on my hair.

Also, on the audition web page, the two groups were listed by voice parts: as SSAA (soprano 1, soprano 2, alto 1, alto 2) and TTBB (tenor 1, tenor 2, baritone, bass) rather than as women's and men's groups respectively. We have at least two men in the SSAA choir, and I know there used to be at least one woman in the TTBB choir. This makes me happy.

It also makes me wonder if I should have auditioned as a tenor for the other group. That one's mostly gay men; I might fit in better there. :P

I wonder if anyone noticed that I had DD's last time I saw any of them, and now I no longer do...

Singing should be helpful in developing the range and tonal quality of your voice if you're using hormones.

I wonder if anyone noticed that I had DD's last time I saw any of them, and now I no longer do... I remember you had mentioned that before. You can bet that if they commented on your hair they most certainly would have noticed the big reduction, but would be unlikely to make any comments as it would be horribly rude and in extremely poor taste for sure.

Singing is a really good way to develop your voice. Been singing for the better part of my life and to this day, being 24 years old, I still have my soprano 1 voice and right now I sing baritone. I did a bit of voice-overs in school so I can emulate a lot of voices. Singing was the base for my voice and now once I can start my transition, sounding feminine won't be an issue.

A dozen students came to the gay/straight alliance meeting at my school this week. Gave me a warm feeling to see so many open-minded young people in the same room.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?
