NEW SAILOR MOON ANIME COMING THIS SUMMER!!! :D

cool :D

What made me happy today was chasing a shoplifter out of my store two blocks up a winding hill.. And my *ahem* stayed tucked in place. That made me smile as I was gathering video for the coppers.
Just another girl screaming to be herself.

A victory and an Atta Girl for you hon! I can just visualize Sweet Steffy Bee hauling ass up a hill and closing fast on the offending perp and wondering if everything will stay put. Must have been a bit stressful!

I played a few (unexpected) pranks on my friends at school. You know you're doing something right when your EMT instructor looks like he's having a real heart attack this time. Gotta love April Fool's Day.

I was trying to think about something I wanted to add to the 'What made you unhappy today?' thread... and realised that the worst thing I could think of is that my Xbox decided to banjax the Fable III saved game I've been working on all week.

If that's the worst thing I could think of, my day must've been going pretty darn well. :)

Its a nice warm day so I'm wearing this to work in today :)

And I'm happy I had some time to sit and do nothing for a bit!

Just a "California Girl" trying to enjoy each sunny day

Got my second T injection today. :)

Only downside is that my arm will probably be pretty much useless tomorrow but what the heck.

Knowing that in less than three weeks the Hernia I've been living with for over two years will finally be fixed and that in May I'll be able to get back to exercising the way I want to :D

Rowan Rue,

I have had a left & right hernia done at a world renown Hospital that specializes in hernia operations, both times under local. Nice grounds & they get you up walking right away. After the op in conversation with people if something humorous is said it can be a little uncomfortable laughing or coughing. Recovery isn't overly painful, the odd quick jolt, when you feel a want to itch that is the sign of healing. I took a week off work, went for a walk each day & kept extending the distance I went. Should be loosened up mostly after a week. You are not aloud to do anything strenuous or lift anything heavy for 4 to 6 weeks.

Don't worry. Get a good nights sleep before the op & relax as much as you can. Post op, listen to your body. You will be fine. I know the waiting is a real bug.
Good luck. Be positive & take care.

I had lunch with a friend I hadn't seen in five years. I came out to her and the first thing she said was "congratulations."
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

I got my letter for HRT today. Even though my doctor just sees it as an unnecessary formality, it's good to know everything's finally moving along.

Finally got round to plucking up the courage to ring the GIC and confirm my appointment for two weeks' time. Woohoo!

My 150-160ish pound ewe has just given birth to 35ish pounds of baby.  i.e., humans are wimps.

This is the ewe who's been down for a long time.  I had to induce her yesterday and now help her deliver triplets.  They're perfect.  Though I don't like triplets, as my ewes are not built to handle them.  Hopefully her problems will have been solved with getting them out, and she'll be up and around again.  Hopefully she will take care of them.  She's not a good mother.  In the meantime, I'm milking her to feed the brood every few hours. :icon_zombie: (They're not really together enough to figure out how to nurse when she's lying down, but hey, at four hours old...)

This is in the happy thread because all parties survived the evening, the ewe is already more mobile than she's been in a week, the lambs are strong and good nursers, she hasn't rejected any, and she might not die.  That seems good enough for right now. :icon_dizzy:

That's good news, been wondering about the outcome of that "sick" ewe. Better get some rest yourself Liam must have been a tough night!

Thanks Jamie,
They're doing a laproscopic repair so it'll be under general anesthetic.
I'm not too worried, just really happy to be getting things taken care of finally!
I'm planning for a week off to convalesce, my wife is planning for two, lol.

Got another, a little late, b-day present from my fiancé. A dvd box with all the BBC's dinosaur documentaries!
Really wonderful present for me since I've been a dinosaur freak ever since I knew they existed. :D
