Found five dollars I didn't know I had and took my grandma out for lunch. It's so nice to be able to go further than the mailbox!

Went and saw my friend and just chatting about things. We got on the topic of what I should do to get the body I need. He took a step back, took a drag from a cigarette and said "Well first we make your butt and hips bigger. Then boobs. You'll be sexy." It was funny how he said it but it made me happy hearing the sexy part.
Watching the birds made me feel like taking a journey. The people, the landscapes, everything was imperfect but beautiful.

I finally finished putting together my PC! And it's all up and working.

Now Keaira doesn't have to go insane watching me take, say, half an hour to open up the case. Or help me with very small things that I should be able to figure out on my own. :P I swear, if the computer wasn't finished tonight we'd probably no longer be friends, lol. But she was very patient and helpful when I needed her to be and I am very thankful.

Well done on your build.  I'm very proud of you. And all I did was watch the madness unfold. And sleep. I didn't do much beyond that. ^_^

Well, most recently you helped me get the fans going. You helped with getting started mounting the motherboard. You helped me put in the CPU and the fan. Amongst other things.

Had a long, geeky chat with my youngest daughter last night. She asked me to explain Star Trek to her and she seemed genuinely interested in its background, particularly its real-life influence and its historical significance, such as Nichelle Nichols discussing her role with Martin Luther King Jr. In return, my daughter explained two of her favourite mangas for me. Bliss. :)

On that subject... Happy First Contact Day, everyone! LLAP ;D

After my all-female reading group, three of us went to the gay bar next door for drinks. They were having a trivia contest so the three of us formed a team. We were the only team of women in a roomful of men and we won by a wide margin.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

A few days ago, I posted a status on facebook disclosing my gender identity and transition and desire to be referred to with female pronous.  Over the past few days, dozens of contacts have liked the status and many have commented with messages of love and support.

Apparently people really have a high opinion of me, and are super happy to see me come out and be the real me, and well that just makes me feel swell :)

Why am I not surprised? You have a very feminine appearance and those who know you have probably even observed other feminine attributes. Nice to have such positive input from friends!

Increased my HRT level & looking forward to the changes. Spring diet is going well, it's time to shed all the winter fat I've stored up. Purchased 2 new one piece bathing suits that fit look good. Time soon to try & get some sun, maybe a decent tan this year.

We had a family member over today who hadn't had a kind reaction to me coming out to her two weeks ago. A little staring and studying, but at least the conversation was civil. It's a step in the right direction and I'll definitely take it.

I texted my friend in anguish that I couldn't decide what clothes to wear on this gorgeous spring day (mainly I'm deciding between a skirt or cargo shorts). His response? "haha gaaaaaaaayy"

Which was surprisingly gender-affirming. ^-^

Today was my final session with my therapist.

About a month ago I'd suggested that we could start winding things down. I'd been working with her for about 2.5 years now. She'd mentioned that she never really felt like she was treating me for gender issues. Rather, she felt like she was treating me for depression related to the losses I'd experienced in my transition so far.

And, she'd bought a copy of my book and asked me to sign it for her!

Congratulations Natastic! That is a wonderful feeling, to realize that who you really are is who your friends want you to be too.
