Depeche Mode have announced new dates on their 2013/2014 tour. I missed out on the original ticket sales due to financial reasons, so I've just bought tickets this morning. :)

Yay! This will be the 7th time I see them perform live.

I suppose this means... *sunglasses*... I just can't get enough of them!  8)

Uni Philosophy Club meeting tonight at a local cafĂ©/pizza place.  Good discussion, and not a religious fundamentalist in sight, unlike last week.  Still it was interesting seeing someone turn up a week ago for a battle of wits unarmed.

I'm excited! I got new binders that are more comfortable and better for summer weather, I got a haircut (although it's a little too short), and I get to go to an anime thing in a couple weeks. Woohoo!

Scheduled my appt to meet with the doc to start HRT. So giddy I feel as though I'm levitating above my chair right now. After the whirlwind that this month has been it feels amazing to do something positive that gets me closer to where I need to be.

Chloe, glad that the big moment is almost here for you to start hrt. It is hard to hold back the excitmnent in your mind and be calm. I hit the magic meeting with my Doctor this past Tuesday, got my prescription for the anti androgen one meeting early and took my first Spironolactone pill today. It is Aldactone and no reactions so far & hope it stays that way. Enjoy the road to Happy real you! Congrats & good luck.

Had my third appointment at Fenway Health yesterday. My pharmacy got a fax today with my new prescription upping my dosage of estrodol. Tomorrow I start on my new dosage.  ;D

Wow, you are on Estrogen already, you and your Doctor are moving fast! My Doctor said the wait is 3 months to E. but he said he will see how I am doing on Spiro & if I am okay, he may shorten the wait time to E.

My doctor started me on both Spiro and Estradol on my first visit back in January

Finding a couple of packets of microwave popcorn on the FREE table  8)  Also, the almost real butter taste they add to the microwave popcorn

Got my hair done last night and it's looking great, at last! Went to work in a long skirt with a split to the thigh, got lots of compliments and had a few bug eye looks from guys. Heee Heee

Funniest part was from the girls when I walked into the lab, congrats on the hair then. 'You bitch! I wish I had the legs to wear a skirt like that'

Got called "She" by a stranger sitting two feet away while in guy mode. :D

Admittedly he may have been drunk, but still...

This is a really big deal:

Up until now, whenever I dressed female, my 15-year-old daughter would hide in the basement, afraid to see me like that.

First the first time, she stayed around as I got my stuff together to go out. We had a perfectly ordinary conversation. When I came back she stuck around as well.

Might be she's open to accepting me as a woman.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Congrats Suzi! That's a really big deal. I'm glad she's starting to accept you.

Today I drove out to look at some farm land that some friends of mine are buying and on the way back we pulled off to the side of the road to watch a cow give birth to a calf. We watched from near the end of the labor to the calf's first steps and we all agreed that it was an auspicious sign for this massive project we've been working on for months. So excited to be able to spend this summer working with dirt and animals.

Got to leave the house for more than an hour today. We went to sit by the dog park and saw a gorgeous white German Shepherd. I wanted to steal that dog so much... But I have my psycho troll dog so I guess that's good enough.  :)

I felt like a person all day today.  It's been in the eighties for a few days, so sweltering ::) and I was comfortable enough to say, screw it, and take off the sweatshirt I've been wearing since I got it fifteen months ago.  I actually did not get particularly dysphoric - what did happen was I found that my whole outline is quite different from pre-T me, which version is still the default image in my head.  I can't think of a way to say this and not sound immodest, so I'll just say I look good :-X

I may have found a solution to my schooling problem.

And my ewe who went down two weeks ago got up by herself last night and has been getting herself up all day.  She can't go anywhere yet, but heck, I'll take it.

Sounds really like positive headway for you Liam, funny about that default image, we all seem to suffer from it and we need to realize that it's just a bogus human glitch and not let it affect us adversely.

That ewe is going to make it.  :eusa_clap: I remember my girl cousin's cow had a calf and suffered a prolapse. I thought OMG it's going to die! The vet stuffed everything back in and it survived and lived to calf again.

I smiled and sang all day long, even when I was having to clean up a kitchen that had accumulated dirty dishes since this past Sunday.
