Imreallyconfused

After finally having a heart to heart with my father and coming to understand one another a lot better I came out and told him about what's going on and he was more understanding than mom was. I even told him that I was seeing the therapist about it and considering transitioning and he was ok with it. I feel like the world largest piece of anger that I held inside has been released and turned into sheer joy. I even found out that my brother thinks like my dad does and telling him wouldn't be such a bad thing either. Now I feel as though I can tell anyone now and not feel so apprehensive.

I think your heart melts, relaxes, more comfortable, let that fear guard down, when family listens, & let the love flow. Sharing & discussing calmly goes a long way. The family support being there helps all in your transition. That is the biggest hurdle. Should make you more at ease coming out to friends because you have the confidence & if some aren't on board, they didn't have your best interest anyway, their loss.

Happy events like this is a Beautiful & precious progression of your life!
All the best.

Currently sat in the cafe area at my gym... having plucked up the courage to spend my entire gym visit today wearing shorts, showing off my hairy legs.

Last time I wore a pair of tracksuit bottoms over my shorts until I got to the equipment I wanted to use, before self-consciously whipping them off to use the equipment.

Hey, fellow gym peeps: I'm a pre-everything female-to-male transsexual living my RLE. We're here, and we're entitled to be ourselves, so you'll just have to deal with it.

(If I hadn't spent the last 30 years of my life under intense social pressure to shave my legs, this wouldn't even feel like an achievement) ;)

I approve, you have to pro-actively put yourself out there and make the statement of who you are in spite of perceived social pressures much of which is pre-programed in our own heads. This is the best way to overcome it.

I finally got around to arranging the surprise party for one of my cousins today. She hates surprises, but everyone always has a good time anyway.

I also now have the time to finish the second season of The Walking Dead. It's a good day.

I was buying some wine glasses and the person in front of me was rather obnoxious to the assistant, and when it settled she also asked for a discount on the goods she had. The assistant refused saying they were already discounted. The person move away in a huff.

She looked at me smiled and said, but you can have your glasses for half price, and they were already discounted!

She also said it quite loudly!

Happy Birthday Caleb! *huggles*

The phone conversation Caleb is having with a mutual friend had me and my wife in stitches. I've not laughed that hard in a long time. It was pure comedy gold!!

Being called a girl at work even with a boyish voice.  Feels good to be seen as a girl with probable hormone issues  ;D

Must be the curves and nail polish.

I finally got my ipod back after three weeks without it!! I had been using my phone but it was clunky, didn't let me update my playlist, and eventually went through the wash.

I found an old video game I hadn't seem in years and hooked up my PS2 to waste some time. I'm addicted to it again (so are all of the kids in the house) so the adults can have some time to relax for once. They owe me big time.

Coming out to a male friend who can be trusted to keep a confidence, then sharing a bottle of vintage scotch, and commiserating about our respective wives.

My first therapist appointment is this week too!  Happy for you, FTMDiaries !!!
