Isabelle

Dee, give the magic pills some time and you're going to be a knockout. Pretty a boys make pretty girls :) You're starting with an awesome bone structure and physique.

Dee: What Isabelle said...you're beautiful...you will be unstoppable in transition. Be patient with your body, have faith...

Bex80: I understand you're looking to lose a lot of weight, and I hope you accomplish whatever your goals are - but you are beautiful and totally passable already. That is an advantage of a shapely figure, and softened face. You are beautiful...so excited for you!

Isabelle: Girl you're 100% woman and I can't imagine questioning it....so cute...x

Flandre: You're very attractive, and while your features are currently saying Boy, they don't necessarily have to. Your hair is growing, as I can see - and hair makes A HUGE DIFFERENCE. Your strong jaw is obviously apparent, but it isn't bull->-bleeped-<- when I tell you a strong jaw is a good look on a woman. Its about balancing out your features to look more feminine overall, and you have a great palette to work from. You are very thin and hollowed by testosterone, and HRT does change you. The thing you need to realize is that hormonal changes to the face may be subtle and not affect bone structure, but those subtle changes make huge differences in the way we are perceived. Smoother hairless skin with a soft and plumped texture can make a face completely different. I am very similar to you...thin, 5'11, verrrry similar hair. I happen to have a stronger brow than you, and I do despise it...but I also try to accept it. I may get forehead surgery one day, but I doubt it...I hate the idea of surgery and I believe I can be the woman I am without it. Though sometimes I feel it hinders my ability to pass, others remind me that unique features can be very attractive. As for your hair, I know it is hard. Mine is just that way and at that length it is INSANE...very frizzy and unattractive and curly in a dopey way...haha not that yours looks like that but mine did and I wouldn't besurprised if you find it frsutrating. Just hold in there because that hair is big and bouncy and responds amazingly well to a blowdryer and a round brush...you can do anything with it and once its long enough it becomes an asset. Have patience!! And go to a stylist to help maintain it as it grows...you're going to do great don't worry...if your nose or jaw become unbearable to your transition then youll deal with it as it comes, but for now you can work with what you have...

hopefully getting ffs in 2013 with dr bart

I really like your makeup style.  It has a little Asian overtone, to my eyes.

But I don't see what you could do with FFS?  I mean, that is a very feminine presentation already.  And you should be posting over in the Fabulous topic.

Also, here's a picture that shows my figure. I was sunbathing the otherday and saw my own reflection in the glass and couldn't resist a totally narcissistic photo lol (I also don't own any big mirrors lol) I was surprised by how much my overall figure has softened and gotten a little curvy... Still not totally happy with it though, Id like to get the abdominal tightening thing done that accentuates the waist (can't remember the name)

Isabelle, if you are not completely happy with your waist and abdominal muscles, try doing the "yoga plank" several times per day.  There are plenty of websites and youtubes that demonstrate it.

:) Thanks for the encouraging words! Its been an awfully stressful couple weeks, so this is a welcome change of pace!

And Isabelle, for what its worth, I love your stomach.  Everything in those pics says 'cis girl' to me. Also, its a little hard to make out in the reflection, but I like the hair, too!

My girlfriend recommended me to come here to share...and to get opinions. *blushing* So...here we go.

I know my hairline is pretty bad...happens in my family a lot... but do you think I could pass someday? I have had nothing done so far...no hormones, etc.

Gawd, you're already pretty! Love your little bow of a mouth, pretty lips, probably a lot more to say but we don't want you getting a big head over it hon!

Thanks a million Shantel! I am really concious I have small mouth and my wife loves to wind me up that my eyes are too close together. x

That means so much thank you. I am big physically anyway at 6'2" and 230 pounds. Women like Miranda Hart and Rebecca Adlington are an inspiration. Rebecca's smile is amazing and lights up her face. x

Hi all,
This is me, hair tied back and absolutely no makeup (laying in bed cause I'm lazy :p ). I've been full time for about 5 months now and on hrt for about 20 months. I turned 32 a couple of months ago. Just wondering if I'm passable in a "natural" state (ie, hair back, no makeup)

Don't you just love having that moment when you look at your reflection and the REAL YOU just POPS OUT like that?  You are fine hun. No worries, you are on your way. Keep us posted.

Daydra, though you have some obviously masculine features, you might be surprised by the changes you see in the Before and After topic, on this board.

Jamie D, I shall look into it :)

The yoga plank will tighten up the abdominal muscles.

heres a pic of me with all my hair pushed up into a messy bun on the back of my head and softer/ more subtle makeup

I think you look a million times more passable in this picture than the previous one.

The softer look is much nicer :) For some reason, I'm scared of your eyebrows though   :)

i might possibly grow them back after any eyebrow lift with the other ffs stuff , or at least the front and then fill them in , but i dont know artificial eyebrows sort of go with my aesthetic i go for

mementomori I suppose you have used quite a bit of foundation, you do have an attractively feminine shaped face. However your eyebrows deserve some rethinking as they are reminiscent of the 1920's and 30's when women shaved their eyebrows off and penciled them in. To be honest this practice has the effect of giving a woman a rather cold, aloof and unapproachable look and even hints at the possibility of underlying bitchiness. I'm not wishing to hurt your feelings dear, this is just an honest opinion and we all know about opinions.  ;)

You rock the goth look but I find the understated look here to be softer and more feminine.
