Constance

I just lost three coworkers. I hate mergers.

Had to make an appointment to see a regular therapist because my dad said so. I don't want to do this and be picked apart. I think I'll keep the trans questions to myself and just try to deal with the massive pool of anger I have inside me.

I've been so exhausted, I didn't do my stats homework. (Seriously, I've attempted it during the past few days, but the words are swimming.) I slept in this morning and have decided to just skip this morning's statistics since it usually makes me feel tired and I already feel like I'm about to pass out. I've been sleeping 7 to 8 hours a night (with the exception of monday morning), so I know I haven't had too much sleep and I should be getting enough sleep. I just got back from a break (during which I also felt tired, but not this bad). I have a cold, but it usually doesn't make me this tired for this long.

Bottom dysphoria is still through the bloody roof. =/ *sigh* It's keeping me up at night (partly). I hope it quiets down soon.

I'm getting the most lucid dreams of my life on these pills, that would be a good thing but every dream is a nightmare!!
On the bright side the other side effects are calming down so maybe tonight i'll have a good dream

Soon-To-Be-Ex-Hubby made me feel awful this morning. :(

One of my daughters had an orthodontist appointment today to have braces fitted. Hubby said last night that he was taking time off to take her there.

I remembered how much pain she was in last time, so this morning I asked him to give her some painkillers when they got back & to judge whether she should go to back to school afterwards. Last time she was in agony and was unable to eat anything solid for several days, so  I didn't want her to go without lunch or painkillers.

At least, that's what I tried to say. As I was saying it, he shouted over the top of me to say that he hadn't booked the whole day off and would be going back to work immediately afterwards, dumping her at school no matter what. Daughter then broke in with a smug grin and said "he did tell you about this".

No, he didn't. He discussed it at length with his mother (as per usual) but he never spoke to me about it, apart from briefly mentioning last night that he was taking her in today.

As per usual in our household, he gave me a small portion of the story but left out most of the details. He always goes round his Mum's and discusses everything at length with her and then assumes that the whole freaking world knows the entire story through osmosis. Then when I ask innocent questions about it (because he never tells me anything) I get shouted down and made to feel like I'm somehow in the wrong for not having telepathically deduced what he was on about. He does it to me all the time and has done for years.

I do sometimes wonder whether he's doing this deliberately to send me round the twist.

Hey, Soon-To-Be-Ex-Hubby? Maybe you should've married your darn mother.

Thanks Shan! And that, ladies & gents, is the moral of my little tale of woe: never get involved with a Mummy's boy or a Daddy's girl!

Incidentally, he didn't give our daughter any painkillers and when I texted her at lunchtime she said her mouth was hurting so much that she couldn't eat properly. Exactly like last time.

Gah. I hate working so far away from home that I can't just up & leave when my kid is in pain and her dad's being a sphincter. :(

I am broke and I want Ice Cream. Yes, I'm sorry to day it, but for some odd reason it actually made me unhappy.

Sounds like he should move back home with her, obviously the apron strings are too short.

My ex always insisted she'd told me stuff when she hadn't, she'd swear blind that she has a perfect memory & remembered telling me, the only thing she could remember is how to skin up a fat one!
Maybe we should hook them both up, they sound perfect for each other  ::)

I've been waiting for 3 days for a call back about my appeal about electrolisys funding, my mum said she'd drop a camera around this week so I can get pictures of my eczema whilst it's flared up, i've got pills that will help to clear it up but can't take them until I get these photos done for my appeal
My face is glowing bright red & sore as hell right now, my eyelids are starting to puff up, my creams are burning as they soak in & I can barely stand to touch my face with my electric shaver.

on top of it all my boilers playing up & the waters coming through tepid, I had a shower at 4 this morning to ease my skin a little & I was shivering!!

Everyone in the office has been coughing relentlessly for the past two weeks, including someone in the room next door who never covers their mouth when they cough.

Two nights ago my throat started burning like I'd swallowed acid; I woke up the following morning to find that I'd rapidly acquired a chest infection.

Bleh. I'm asthmatic, which makes chest infections extra-difficult. I'm now on quadruple my normal dose of steroids (but not the good kind, sadly) and I'm dosed up to the eyeballs with cold & flu pills. I feel like death warmed over.

Thanks for sharing, colleagues!

Some people are so inconsiderate! Get an albuterol nebulizer, that will pull you out of the asthma attacks and open up those bronchial airways fast. Hope you recover quickly! Not fun now huh? (hugs)

Didn't get the job I interviewed for, still unemployed living with the ex. Haven't received a check from January so very very broke. Feeling like I have nothing to live for getting stronger with each day

Thanks. At least I have till the end of the month to find something. I tried to get my boss to say it is because I am trans. I was really hoping for a pay out. But, he had an actual reason for it. Darn!
